They show Nancy and Ronnie having dinner during the time they first started dating. Nancy is talking about her background and she says her father, Loyal Davis, is a famous brain surgeon and she then holds up her hands and brags that she got her hands from her father.
Here is a snippet from her biography:
When the future First Lady was six, her mother, Edith--a stage actress--married Dr. Loyal Davis, a neurosurgeon. Dr. Davis adopted Nancy, and she grew up in Chicago.
All the Reagan writers had to do is read her biography and they would know that Nancy would never have bragged that she got her hands from her stepfather.
After they showed this snippet, Fox & Friends had a spokesman from Showtime telling us how accurate the movie is on the portrayal of the Reagans.
Who did the research for this movie, Barbra Streisand?
Im also surprised no one at Fox & Friends caught this inaccuracy. I don't have the stomach to watch this movie. Accuracy in Media

is interested in any other inaccuracies found in the movie. I figure if a 30 second clip has one, then the movie shoud have lots of them.
