NC House and Senate Redistricting Session meets 9:30 a.m. Monday, 24 November
VIGIL BEGINS AT 8:30 A.M. but folks should come whenever they can. If it's later, they may want to call 218-5071 or 805-9718 for updates and learn if the GA is still in session.
Location Legislative Building - front entrance 16 West Jones Street, Raleigh - Call 919-786-2438 or 805-9718 for updates.
MISSION STATEMENT
We, the Grassroots Republicans, call on ALL legislators to vote for fair and constitutional redistricting plans. These plans will "level the playing field" for Republicans for the decade. We the voters will be able to choose our own representatives instead of allowing the lawmakers to choose them for us.
HELP SEND A STRONG MESSAGE!
"Eternal Vigilance is the Price of Liberty." - Thomas Jeffeson
CAPITAL AREA REPUBLICAN CLUB
To promote the principles of freedom, equality and justice upon which the government of the United States is founded.
Expect House Demo/RINO coalition and Senate Demo (Rand) to overplay hand again. Even if they violate existing case law, vainly hoping to re-try the Stephenson case, an end-game is to DELAY the PRIMARY.
Senate GOP, to take the lead in offering Majority last oportunity to avoid a Court battle.
Come out for the Constitution
It is of strong interest to me to know when the filing deadline for North Carolina will be, since I am cranking up to run for the 11th District in Congress. As I understand it, congressional districts are not affected by the change in the law. However, the filing deadline should be moving closer to the fall, since it is unconstitutional to require state candidates to file for office before the district lines have been set.
Please be kind enough to ping me with information on the filing deadline as it appears in the proposed law.
Thank you very much.
