Lost Kennedy tapes Dallas WBAP 820 AM: Running to the Hill
Me
Posted on 11/22/2003 11:15:28 AM PST by Treeless Branch
I live in Dallas and am listening to WBAP, which is re-broadcasting its braodcast from the day Kennedy was killed. Very interestng. First eyewitness interviewed by WBAP claims there were 2 shots fired from the hill (i.e. grassy knoll). She then says that she ran towards the hill where the shots were fired in order to see who fired the shots. I find this revealing because people who support the lone gunmen theory always support their position by stating that shots could not have come from the grassy knoll because the eyewitneses ran towards the knoll, i.e. why would someone risk their lives by running towards where shots were being fired from? Apparently, this first eyewitness gives the answer: to find the gunmen.

Nothing ends 'speculation'. Especially speculation from people who refuse to think logically.

Zapruder testified that he felt the "whiz" of a bullet passing over his ear. He was standing on a wall in front of the grassy knoll.

The plot to assassinate President John F. Kennedy has been shrouded in secrecy and deceit, leading most Americans to doubt the veracity of the Warren Commission's findings.
Now, after nearly forty years, Barr McClellan exposes the secret, high-level conspiracy in Texas that led to Kennedy's death and L.B.J.'s succession as President. Using court documents, insider interviews and even the findings of the Warren Commission, Barr McClellan reveals the complex maneuvers, payoffs and power plays that changed the history of the 20th Century.
If absolute power corrupts, then blood, money and deception are its allies.

Nope. Not even close. There were 90 people who were listed as witnesses. Two people on the knoll said the shot came from there for a total of seven.
41 people said the shot came from the Depository.

why would someone risk their lives by running towards where shots were being fired from? I've never heard that one. Everybody acknowlegdes that some wtinesses heard the shots coming from the Grassy Knoll, others heard the shots coming from the School Book Depository. None of this means much because echos can make sounds sound like they're coming from places they aren't. In fact it would be extremely unusual if different people didn't here the shots coming from different locations.

"50 witnesses that day said that shots came from the grassy knoll." That is wrong. Of the 178 witnesses in Dealey Plaza that day 44% (78 people) could not determine where the shots came from, 28%(50 people) thought they came from the TSBD, 12% (21 people) said they came from the Grassy Knoll, and 17% (30 people)said elsewhere. Stats are rounded and taken from the HSCA via Case Closed by Gerald Posner.

But even the Warren Report acknowledges that many eye-witnesses reported running to the GK and being met by men claiming to be Secret Service agents, (with fake credentials,) and being turned away.
The Secret Service says they had no such men posted there.
If these eye-witnesses were not lying.....?WELL....there has to be an explanation.
"that they were in on it" is the one for me.......and the "lone assasin theory" thusly false.

Yeah I agree with Shooter 2.5. Your statement is flatout false. You are either severely uniformed on the subject or you just beleive anything you read from the nutty conspiracy authors. But most likely both.

The thing that gets me, and reinforced by listening to the real-time Ft Worth broadcast is how they bagged Oswald so fast after the event. It is almost like they were looking for him before the assassination. Remember the cluster**** after the DC sniper shootings, and picture that times 10 in Dallas, and they caught that guy by accident basically.

I believe LBJ's personal attorney more than anything cobbled together by the Warren Commission. Before Ruby conveniently wasted Oswald, LH figgered it out, "I'm a patsy." ...and, of course, he was.

Ok it's now 40 years later and yet no light? So when should we expect this flood of enlightenment to smack us into reality?

I drove by Dealy Plaza unintentionally at about the time the shooting happened 40 years ago while returning home from the motorcycle show at the Dallas Concention Center. Area was packed with people and Elm street in front of the Schoolbook Building was blocked off and filled with people. The majority looked too young to have been around four decades ago and some seemed waiting for a part to break out.

Some years back I saw an supposed tv documentary on JFL killing and I hear a "male" claim the same thing at the time, then he packed up and headed for Alaska.
I don't know if it was the same one but this guy was not talking to anyone at the time the documentary was done, he was toooooo scared to talk. It been around 8-10 years ago.
