Bombshell: Kobe Accuser Had Sex with Key Witness

A new bombshell revelation in the Kobe Bryant case threatens to destroy the credibility of the prosecution’s key witness - whose testimony could send the basketball superstar to jail for years. Sources told GLOBE that the 19-year-old woman who has accused Bryant of rape told them she had sex with the prosecution’s star witness Bobby Pietrack - a week before she met Bryant.

Pietrack, a 23-year-old bellhop at the resort where the alleged rape took place, is the first person Katelyn Faber told about her encounter with Bryant. He can testify about her emotional state and physical appearance at the time.

But legal experts tell us that if there was a sexual encounter between Katelyn and the bellhop, it could wreck his credibility and sink the case of the Eagle County, Colo., prosecutor.

The vaginal swabs have not been tested, and even though he did not ejaculate, it is still possible it is his. I agree, if it's not I don't see how the threshold of "beyond a reasonable doubt" could be met.

Sodomy was a rumor, perpetuated by Geraldo Rivera on air, no less. It was stated flatly at the prelim that vaginal penetration was the only allegation in that area, though the position was from behind.

That isn't the testimony, either--that they were only visible with dye via microscope. There were two photos introduced, one with dye and one without. The dye and magification were to enhance the ability to see, but they were not invisible.

I am guessing the prosecution will try to show that the two 1 centimeter (not tiny, imo) and "too many to count" 1 mm tears were the source.

That has not been the specific testimony, and I'm not arguing it definitely was. Just perceiving that's where they're headed.

The detective said the nurses and doctor found no trauma to that area. Further, there is no accusation of such. It was elicited very plainly.

Yes Mr. Bryant was guilty of Adultery. Last time I checked that was not a crime in Colorado.

Yes, but last time I checked a 19 year old girl having sex with several men is not a crime either, so what is your point? If her having sex with other men is relevant, than so is the fact that Bryant violated his marriage vows. Neither is illegal, but you want to disregard one. The fact is, that Braynt took an oath to his wife. This victim, may not be an admirable person for her promiscuity, but she never took a commitment not to have sex with other people. Unless you are a member of the Massachusetts Supreme Court you should acknowledge that.
