Blah, blah, blah. Be sure to use those words you are so hip to defend for your next job interview. Oh. And, bring along the dictionary, too so you can prove your point. That ought to do it.
I just called you on it
I am glad you did...that's what makes this site so great, no?

Too bad. Jackson is stealing their air time. Oh well, lets just put this all behind us. It wasn't that important anyway.

No, I thought what made this site go great was the free exchange of ideas, regardless of cultural background or level of education. Evidently, those who don't follow your definition of proper language are shot at. (Oops, I ended that sentence with a preposition!)
Do you immediately dismiss Southerners as unintelligent because of our slang?

I agree. It would seem to me that they only got a small fraction of what they wanted number-wise. If only normal people would rally to show whats right. I guess they're busy doing other things like, oh I dunno, working? Do you find it strange that all the left-wingers are unemployed? It makes sense to me. All those who are too stupid to see whats in front of their noses probably have difficulty in the workplace. " Duh, was that 2 fries or 1"?
To: curtking
Evidently, those who don't follow your definition of proper language are shot atWRONG. I was EXPRESSING my free exchange of ideas or, because YOU disagree with it, am not allowed? Because I point something out, that's deemed a "shot"? Sorry, but you'll have to do better than that.
Tolerance, as long as we believe what YOU believe, it that it?

You might want to try a complete sentence next time.
And you didn't express an idea--you didn't even post on-topic. Your post had nothing to do with "Protestors just pulled down the statue of President Bush".
Tolerance, as long as we believe what YOU believe, it that it?
Hey, I'm not the grammar police. You are.

And you didn't express an ideaAh, I expressed my idea/opinion/thought, on a (what I consider) non-word.
Your post had nothing to do with "Protestors just pulled down the statue of President Bush".
And, did I say that it DID?
Hey, I'm not the grammar police. You are.
Nope. Again, just EXPRESSING my OPINION on a post. Hey, speak however you like I really couldn't care less (well, I could actually)
Nice talking with you, but I have to bail. Hey, that's in that big word book, too. Isn't it?

Most of us don't come here to debate the fair use of , or your interurpution of propper King's english. Just FYI.
Nor did I.That's the WHOLE POINT of FR, to voice your OPINONS, and observations
Most of us try to limit our opinions and discussions to the area of conservative politics.
BTW.. I am not at all a person to make a spelling police announcement. But if I were going around correcting everyone's english and scolding everyone,I would make double, triple sure everything was spelled correctly!

going around correcting everyone's english
For the record, it wasn't everyones....it was, in fact, just one word. So, enough with the histrionics, ok?
Most of us try to limit our opinions and discussions to the area of conservative politics.
Please, there's PLENTY of other topics here besides politics.

All of that ,and you did not admit your own spelling error?
I got you didn't I?
Furhter, some might say the use of the slag term "ya" in place of the proper word "you", and not properly using the ' to show ownership, as in everyone's ,in place of everyones, makes one sound stupid... just FYI, FRiend.

I did not mean to vent upon you for starting this thread. Just respectfully present my anger and outrage over how the Marxist Socialist Commie Sympathizing Liberals in this country has Hijacked the courts as to criminalize anything that resembles Christianity.
Unconstitutional promotion of religion indeed. I'm sorry I don't want "God" to one day be changed from "In God we Trust" one the Dollar Bill to "Stalin". But hey I guess "Allah" would be ok right? ROTFL!!!
I see how one could take my post as resentment over Roy Moore but my ilk doesn't even start with that incident. And frankly if a majority of the US population ever becomes muslim well go figure right? ROTFLMAO @ American population becoming Muslim.
Hey it's not like conservatism was born from non-biblical view points. The whole idea of capital punishment, individual responsibility and many others were founded on the same priniciples of the Bible. Those ideals that have worked so well for this country are now being torn down without so much as a whimper. Tolerance of other religions is one thing, but sacrificing our national identity betrays the principles on which this country was founded and the blood of those who came before us. It is dishonarble to the memories of those brave people that SOME of our so called brothers should throw those principles aside as if it is an embarrasment. I rather think that George Washington said it best:
"It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible"
and not to exclude this one as well:
"To the distinguished character of a Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of a Christian."
I wonder if Washington was ever embarrased over his national identity and faith as some of you here are? And for those I say that in comparison to Liberals, some are so shameful in our midst that the ignorant have more excuse to be pittied.
I will not be belittled by my faith nor will I tolerate the appeasement of the left by denying it either.
When such blatent and sociopathic philosophy threatens to make the lives of my freinds and children miserable considerably. Compasionate conservatism indeed. At whose expense?

Yes, "Props to you" is ghetto-speak for "Good job".
There's a new TV program where the black guy speaks perfect English while his white wife speaks ghetto-speak. Quite entertaining. At the end of a phone conversation it's "Peace out". If they are leaving, it's "We out". If you want someone to move off the subject, it's "let it go, Boo".

You choose an interesting place to do your witnessing.... Work on out!...
You may find that the standard format here is to try to stick to the topic raised at the beginning of the thread but if you feel that you must raise the issue as you are, feel free...
By the way, you will find varying views on all subjects raised....
In this forum, the general rule seems to be, treat others and discuss with others the way you would like to be have someone bring an issue to you...

Both Christianity and Islam have had some pretty unpleasant things done in the name of the religion.... In modern times, I think Christianity appears most compatible with the majority of Western Governments and the people who reside in that country...
However, please remember that religious persecution between Christians,(Protestant and Catholic) etc have often resulted from the activities of those who try to impose their views on others....
I am not saying you are doing that and I want to be clear that I am not ashamed of my faith or church, but I am sure that this separation of church doctrine has a purpose...
And we are one nation, under God...
In our homes and in our churches, we live by God's laws but outside, we tend to live by the laws that do not violate God's law but those are laws that all citizens agree to live by...
Anyway, if you want to have a discussion with someone about moral issues, good luck... These subjects are brought up.... And you will need to have a proposed solution and not just criticism... Be part of the solution...

Now you get my point! There is a good reason I do not scold people for typos, spelling or use of the King's english.
Now you see that even you are not above the simple mistakes everyone makes here.
If you are going to act like an expert on a topic around here, you had better walk the walk.
Again, just some FRiendly advice for you as you do your impression of the posting police.

Quite a few Brits also died on Sept. 11 when the towers fell. So soon the liberals in Britain forget. Many are now more than worthless eurotrash and I say forget them. The Britlibs have forgotten how we pulled their sorry behinds out of trouble twice and now we are doing it again.
To: stylin_geek
You know, if I was a hard-working British citizen, I would be wondering how these people can afford the time to show up for these protests. Then, I would wonder who is footing the bill. Then, I would probably be mightily PO'd, due to finding out this is another example of someone living on the dole.
They are mostly students, then dole. I'm so ashamed of these people.

No 'people' died on Sept 11 - just capitalists. The protestors couldn't care less about people who work for a living.
