Jackson to turn himself in tommorrow (20 NOV 03) according to family. This is despite the recent reports from other news agencies that he assured Sherrifs' office that he would surrender immediately upon landing in Santa Barbara after returning from Las Vegas.

Mark Geragos, Los Angeles defense attorney for Scott Peterson is Michael Jackson's attorney...
The Satan himself's lawyer...

I was listening but not watching while at work, but I thought it was either possibly Sheriff Anderson (LA?) or more likely Santa Barbara Co DA Thomas Snedden - I heard both introduced, but I couldn't see the TV.

You mean good ole "acid is groovy, kill the pigs" McDonald?
My fantasy:
Jackson, McDonald, OJSimpson, and Peterson lying on a beach somewhere buried in sand up to their faces, their heads covered in syrup, and a million ants let loose to have at them.

this is could become a real "thriller" Well, it's "off the wall," that's for sure.
Robert Preston Forever, BTW!
No need to worry, the Scientologists have got his back.

I told him I did not like that. Michael Jackson started crying. He said there was nothing wrong with it. He said that just because most people believe something is wrong, doesn't make it so. This sounds like classic "grooming" as practiced by pedophiles. This erases even a shadow of any doubt I might have had about this whole thing being just his acting out a fantasy of being a little boy again.
I can only hope that jurors of at least average intelligence are found. It will be bizarre to see a Johnny Cochran type trying to play the "race card" in this case!

He's biding his time, hoping Hillary runs for president and wins. He'll then follow Ms. Rich's example and get a presidential pardon.

My God that is rough stuff.
When I look at those grizzly photos I can almost understand the rationale behind why some people snipe abortion doctors.

...and respect that in this country people are innocent until proven guilty. Not to get too technical since I'm not a lawyer, but "innocent until proven guilty" refers to enforcement of our laws through the legal system.
Individuals can speculate to their hearts content.
In reality, either he is already guilty or innocent of charges against him.
I'm not much of a gambler either, but I'd bet everything I own that he is guilty. I also believe that MJ has serious problems. Maybe this, in addition to keeping him away from children, will be the event that forces him to get the serious long-term help that he needs. I mean in prison, of course. Others have noted the possibility of an insanity defense. I don't think he is insane, but I do think it possible that he is deluded and has a warped sense of reality. A conviction in the legal system with the appropriate legislated enforcement of punishment could well be the beginning to opening him up to the real world once again.
