Know a few myself and some who served in Kosovo and you would know as well as I do that they are not going to be liked by all - that applies to military as well as civilian life
I suspect that you know less than you think. Clark was a politically driven general....one who made his stars because he was willing to do whatever it would take to be promoted. His troops would not even follow him to the latrine. McCain served honorably if inneptly and then endured years as a prisoner of war. I honor that. I just don't like some of his political decisions.

As a Perfumed Prince, Clark is used to speaking while others listen. I don't think he can handle it if somebody talks back or interrupts his Golden Thoughts.

Wesley Clark's presidential campaign has launched a bid this week to prove that reports of its imminent death are greatly exaggerated. The retired general who entered the White House race two months ago with a gold-plated resume, the blessing of the Democratic establishment and the aura of political prodigy, lost much of that luster with stumbles on message and management. Clark is seen at a campaign stop in New York October Photo by Reuters at a campaign stop in New York October 14.

I see that you are a relative newbie, having registered on October 16. I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt, although I am a suspicious type.
You have criticized people for comments about General Clark. You seem to think he should be accepted simply because he is military.
Yet here you are, saying that we have had many "nut cases" in the presidency.
I find that comment odd, and think you are trolling.
Prove me wrong.

I hate to burst your bubble but mccain would not have even been a (hero) pow if his daddy the admiral had not broke the military flight traing about crashing not one but two trainers in Pensacola Fl.

Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Sounds like you may be doomed.

How could anyone be angry with Kramer? My first reaction as well. Now I guess someone else is gonna have the dislodge the Fusilli Jerry from General Clark's, uh, foxhole...

Clark is the embodiment of Doctor Strangelove.
Did you catch Jim Taranto's Best of the Web at opinionjournal.com today?
Here's a hilarious bit from today's USA Today interview with Wesley Clark:
Clark said he hadn't seen the evidence of Saddam's war crimes, a comment that prompted adviser Chris Lehane to slip him a folded note. "You should make clear that Saddam is a bad guy," the note read. Clark glanced at the note but didn't return to the topic.
The guy's an idiot. But then what else would a Rhodes Scholar from Arkansas be?

What has Clark said in the past two months that would prove that he is qualified and would make one run right out and vote for him to become the President of the United States of America? If he is your man, please explain why.

Two dem candidates who should not have access to the button -- Clark and Dean. Dean has a temper that is just as explosive. From what I've read their personalities are about the same. That would make Clark, Dean and McCain the "Three Stooges" of presidential politics. I could see them slapping and hitting each other... that would make a funny cartoon.
To: hobson
Actually, in my post, I may have erred. Rather than being the embodiment of Dr. Strangelove, we might remember Captain Queeg.
Can't wait for Clark to wonder who took the strawberries.

I watched it and I don't think Clark comes off nearly as badly as has been suggested on this thread. It's obvious he was trying to deflect attention from his blunderous "sideshow" statement, but I think he sounds indignant more than crazy.
I agree
Definitely not a meltdown

How'd you get it? All I get is the promo for Greta's show.
