Clark started yelling at David saying YOU DO NOT TWIST MY WORDS AROUND! He lost it. I turned my TV on just in time to see this. He said "YOU DO NOT TWIST MY WORDS AROUND!!" and then something like "You Do Not DO this to MEEE!". It was awesome. His neck got even shorter than usual.
I also heard him babbling something earlier about how Newsweek magazine knew where OBL is. I bet Clark drops out of the race by Thanksgiving.

John McCain was trashed as a military man and now Wesley Clark is being trashed. I have the utmost faith in military people who have given so much to and for this country. If these are your poster-boys for "military men" for President, then I'm in favor of electing men who avoided military service.
These two are not stable.

Sounds like a barbershop quartet is forming up. Arafat's "You must call me GENERAL Arafat!", KIller Ted Kennedy's (to Sean Hannity) "You won't talk to me that way!", and now Wesleigh Clark's "You do not twist my words around!"

John McCain was also trashed. POW in Alabama trashed. So do you apply the word trash to those in Iraq & Afghanistan and all around the world now. Support the troops - oh yeah - when? When we can all wave our flags and have nice little parades but none of them are good enough to run for office. When Colin Powell thought about running, he was trashed too.

That's another old trick from people - call military people unstable - better lock them up, can't be trusted, had a mental problem you know.

I respectfully urge you to see this tape. Clark demonstrates that however honorably he served, he is NOT qualified to be president. He comes across as an excitable nut case.
Not all who served in our military are suited for the top post. It isn't to denigrate their service, but rather a recognition that we all rise to our utmost level of competence, and some just can't rise to the highest level.
Really, watch that Clark interview. He is one scary person.
To: maisyday
Would you want the guy who threw the grenade into the tent of his own men elected President, soley by the fact that he was in the military. Remember, James Carville and John Kerry were in the military as well.

I'm of the opinion that the best candidates for higher office would never subject themselves to the humiliation involved in running.
McCain and Clark are not presidential timber. Period.

Perhaps you should
read about Wesley Clark and then make an informed decision. Here's a snippet:
If you look back at the basics of it, one Clinton Defense Department official recalls, Wess strongly held view was If we just threaten to bomb, hell fold, I know this guy. This wont last forty-eight hours. Months earlier, when General Ralston had asked Clark what would happen if he was wrong about Milosevic, Clark had responded, Well, then well bomb.
