If what the article states is true then Port ought to win this suite easily. Especially, if according to the suit, Foky admitted to the double standard, but said higher executives had told him not to deal with it.

Now this is gonna get me in a bunch of trouble but it sounds to me as though the key players mentioned are all women.

Audrey Port
Celeste Ward
Kristi Runyon
Tiani Jones

From personal observation and stories my Wife has told me women in the work place can be the nastiest, meanest, coldest, most jealous, revengeful back stabbers of the two sexes.

When I was about 10 years old, my Dad shared a bit of advice with me, and though it took me many years, I realize that he was absolutely correct.

"Son," he said to me, "you would do well to never forget that women are twice as dangerous as men."

This is the fruit of affirmative action. When one group benefits from racial discrimination, they will be avid to hold onto their advantages, while the disfavored group will seethe with resentment and anger.

A policy that was supposed to reduce disharmony among the races has in fact fostered it.

I have a different take on this. Lexington is not a large market, has four TV stations and WTVQ is consistently rated at the bottom for their news. Too much pressure to "improve" sets up extreme tension and the turnover of staff is high.

This is a no-win situation as the TV news locally is very poor - I never watch any of them. I doubt the suit is going anywhere.

What? That's not what my wife tells me. Women are kind, nurturing and people-centered. If they were running the world we never would have had any wars. We'd all just meet for Bunko and work out our differences over some ice tea.

Did you forget the < /sarcasm> tag, or can I recommend a good divorce lawyer to you?

There is no such thing as reverse discrimination. Every Socialist will tell you that.
