Prayer Request for Former FReeper

I'd like to ask everyone on the Border Ping List to pray for my co-worker and former FReeper, Jackelope Breeder.

He and I work for the same company, different divisions. We do a clean-up in one of the canyons of the Huachucas once a month. He was out with the gang this Saturday, and started complaining about chest pains after the clean-up was done.

I don't know any more details after that, but he is now in the hospital and is pretty heavily sedated. He will go in for the triple bypass tomorrow (11/11/03), and expects to be released over the weekend if all goes well.

I'll keep y'all informed of his condition as I find out more.

I have so missed JB's reports on the border patrols.

I'm so sorry to hear that he's in the Hospital and heavily sedated.

I will pray for his surgery, for God's gift of surgeons who can work miracles of healing, and for JB's speedy recovery.

Please keep us posted and if I'm not on your ping list, please add me. The numbers crossing our borders illegally just makes me crazy.

Update...

I just talked with the nurse's station in CICU. JB is headed for the OR right now. He has been scheduled for exclusive use of this OR Theater for 4 hours.

The nurse I spoke with said that everything looks good for him. That, plus the prayers from everyone of you, gives me faith that we'll see JB up and around before you know it.

I'm off to check our Veterans' Day parade, then to the hospital to wait for JB to come out. I'll post an update later this evening.

Heavenly Father, please give JB's surgeon the skill and wisdom to perform Your miracles. In Jesus' Most Holy Name, Amen.
