The final decision on the 2003 monthly donor mug has been made...and more.
We would like to thank the winning design contributors: RiRi, VisualOps and Mad Dawgg! We made a couple changes due to suggestions from the threads. We eliminated the circle and changed the wording to "and liberty."
Below is a mock up of what the mug will look like. We plan on beginning distribution of this mug the first week of December. If you haven't signed up for monthly contribution yet, be sure to sign up before December 1 to ensure you receive one of these LOVELY LIMTED EDITION mugs!
Now the BIG NEWS! Jim liked the graphics that VisualOps created so much that he has decided this will be the new official logo for Free Republic. GREAT JOB VISUAL OPS. Consequently we have substituted this logo for the old one. Merchandise with the new logo will be available in the near future.
Thank you all for your work and contributions in this effort, there were many excellent suggestions. We hope everyone is happy with the decisions we've made.

Just to let you know, this is an EXTREMELY crude version of the mug. I promise that professionals are involved in the design and production of this mug. I just wanted to give you a general idea of what the mug would look like.
