This thread serves as a place for posting all new general information and references, along with links following Terri's case, plus information on cable news and talk radio shows dealing with the issue, court cases and press releases. This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

There was a tremendous amount of information posted on the previous thread. For anyone who hasn't been following the daily threads, links to relevant posts and information from the previous thread are contained in the body of the present one. I have found that very helpful in trying to find something later. You people are doing a spectacular job of getting information out and also in helping to keep all of us updated here. What a great joint effort. This fight, to me, illustrates beautifully what Free Republic is about and what it means to be a FReeper. Way to go FRiends. Keep up the good work!

I keep my mouth shut, don't get me wrong....but when someone asks my opinion, then they will get it.

I stand corrected....however, I still find it unlikely that this is all her money.....I mean, she didn't start having these transactions until after Michael got the $1.3 million (1993) to spend on Terri's medical care.

My sister had to buy a booking .. kind of were someone is selling their business.

Jodi, definitely had to have help to get started .. and if there is big money in her real estate transactions, I'm guessing she would have to know the right people to continue to pull in that kind of money.

Maybe that things have gone too far? If he were to divorce her now, he could be liable to pay all the money back to Terri that he spent on lawyers. And there is the matter of fierce pride, revenge, and winning imo.

To me, he seems like the kind of guy who just wants to lord his authority over people, and rub salt in their wounds.

Someone posted that Jodi has an insurance business in her home. However, I still don't understand, either, how she has the money to make all these real estate transactions; I never heard of insurance agents making that much money, myself (don't get me wrong, they get paid well, but not exhorbitantly).

I wonder how much money she got for those three auto accident lawsuits someone posted earlier? I found that astonishing. They were all three different years and different parties. I don't know anyone who has had 3 seperate auto accidents that resulted in them filing lawsuits! (It seems like Michael Shiavo and Jodi Centonze both are lawsuit-happy)

My father was very outspoken and I guess I inherited this characteristic. My father used to tell me that if you don't stand up for what is right you allow the wrong to take over the world ( or something proverbial like that, lol ). Tell it like it is, have no regrets, and sleep well.

And it doesn't bother me at all. I've seen it happen. I had to do it with my own parents.

I don't care how much a person might believe that removal of a feeding thing was the right thing to do.....to say it doesn't "bother me at all"........pretty much says it all about this guy, imho.

I found those and posted them; that is highly unusual to have that many accidents in that close a time period, from my experience in when I worked with an attorney who did not but defend motor vehicle accident lawsuits. This would have been a RED FLAG for us, let me tell you.

I agree with your father; mine is the same; however, I do usually try to not state my opinion on everything...because that can be a turn-off to some people.....I think what people sense most is my conviction when I do state my opinion----they're always based on learned information, reading, studying, listening to others....only then will I state, with utter conviction, my opinion.

Jul - Michael's mom dies.....obit lists his fiance

Jul - Michael's engagement announced

Aug - Felos sends letter to Schindlers about action to starve Terri

Was Felos the attorney In May of '97? Parents say Michael's engagement was announced in Jul...did they learn from his mother's obit?

Nice that once Felos comes on the scene people start dying.

Ah, thanks for finding it, too. It sure caught my attention! It reminded me of those scammers who manipulate circumstances so that other drivers will rear-end them and can be sued for nebulous whiplash or back injuries. This girl didn't just have 3 apparently serious auto accidents, she sued the other party in all of them. Don't most people just collect from the insurance company of the driver at fault?

I agree with your post, and I think it just goes to show how evil Michael is. That someone would want someone else to die badly enough that they would be willing to spend a fortune doing it, somehow it just doesn't add up. You could be the most loving person in the world and you would give up in this case out of that love. If Terri's parents want her to live so badly, then why would any "model husband" not turn over the guardianship to them? That would be the honorable thing to do. Even if he were telling the truth about Terri's desire to not be "hooked up" to life support (which I don't believe for a minute), don't you think he would have enough doubt to quit fighting the Schindlers? This is just one of many reasons why Michael is not telling the whole truth about this case.

A profit motive doesn't seem to make sense because the effort to kill her gets increased even as the potential inheritance dwindles.

That's partly where Felos comes in to play. He found another landmark case with Terri that he can add to his resume. I have no doubt that part of the reason that MS and Felos argued so vehemently to keep Terri's image out of the spotlight is so that they can profit from her "death with dignity". Think of the book and movie deals. Felos is partially responsible for continually egging Michael on in this quest for fame and power (and money).

The very fact that Felos came in to the Schiavo case at precisely the time he did, just begs to have the whole thing looked at closely by the authorities, especially those who might look into the hospice issues going on. Hospice pays for Terri's care for some three years. Not only is it against the rules for Terri to be admitted into the hospice, the likelihood that anyone would be allowed to live there "rent free" for three years, much less six months, is unheard of!

(I have to confess, I am not one of the researchers here. I stink at internet researching. I'm more of a cheerleader). And all around goofball.

Well, that all depends on how much money they want, and if the injuries received warrant that amount of money. If it doesn't that sets off a red flag to refer out to a lawyer. Also, if it appears to the adjustor/claims agent that there's a pattern (like with Jodi), it sets off another red flag. There's something called an "ISO Claims Search." They punch in the name and their SS# (I believe) and it comes back with every lawsuit/claim made.

I've also wondered how strongly Felos' the kill 'em delusional guru might be influencing MS, considering that MS already wanted Terri dead (for whatever reasons) by the time he met Felos. Felos believes he can communicate psychically with people who are in comas (who conveniently always tell him they want to die). What if Felos is always at MS's side, whispering in his ear, "Michael, I talked with Terri today. She is screaming to be set free, she is begging to be released", etc?

Thanks for the clarification-I was going by my memory (my free bottle of Focus Factor hasn't arrived yet -lol). "it doesn't bother me at all" is even more chilling.
