If this is so, why doesn't this big fat idiot take the next logical step and ask why this is so? Could it be, maybe, just possibly, because of failed liberal "education" programs? We keep throwing billions in taxpayer dollars at the problem and kids still can't find Great Britain on a map? Why is that, Mikey? Could it be because schools don't teach kids facts anymore, they do everything but that? Don't know where Great Britain is on a map? That's okay, just so long as you feel good about trying to find it. Can't add one and one? No biggie, just as long as you remember where the condom dispenser is.

If Moore really was concerned about this, he'd ask why it is that kids today can't do these things, in spite of billions spent year in and year out to make them learn. Then, for the answer to that question, he'd look in the mirror, all the while keeping his hands up to shield his face from the breaking glass (OTOH, maybe he should let the glass hit him, it might be an improvement, or at least he'd lose a few pounds of facial hair).

Oh how I long for our old toilets. We remodeled a few years ago and replaced ours with the new low flush models. I curse the gov't. every time one of the kids uses too much paper and I have to plunge...

I bought a 1.6 GPF Toto Drake ($270 at the time). It works as good as the old 3.0 GPF toilets. Totos are a little more pricey, but worth it, IMO.

You are right. However, moore only needs a narrow but loyal cult following to make a profit. His movies are probably very cheep to make as they must rely a great deal on stock footage.

The fact that donut man Moore displays his amazing ignorance publicly says much about the arrogance that certain of his comrades share about the "common man" or should I say the "proletariat". Suffice it to say that his "repulsion" against he American people is limited to those who vote republican and conservative. It does not extend to the leftist parasites like himself who by virtue of their "political awareness' are deemed to be more worthy than the rest of us poor schmucks.

I have also had the fortune to travel extensively and many of my preconceived notions about Americans' so called lack of knowledge was forever shattered. Quite the opposite---in many European countries it is the elites who are informed generally and often quite brainwashed in fact about America and the world. I had never met so many racist Euros as when I traveled and taught there.

IN third world nations, a tiny minority are "knowledgeable" about the larger world.
