If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

I know we're all getting tired, but we have to hang in there. This isn't just Terri's fight anymore. It is our fight too. Is this GOOD NEWS? Maybe

This does not mean that George W. Greer is going to remove Schiavo; he may just be setting the stage to throw the Schindlers into a false sense of hope, as they go before Larry King Live.

Now tell me this: Why would Greer change the guardianship after all that has transpired for the past five years? Is Greer "getting religion"? Is he afraid of threats on his life?

If Schiavo is removed as guardian, the whole case is essentially over, as I understand it. I cannot see Greer backing down after he belittled Bush's letter back in August. For Greer to back down would be a major statement that he lacks "courage."

All we can do is hope and pray that Greer and the other judges want to get Terri behind them once and for all, and the easiest way to do that is remove Schiavo as guardian. Maybe the judges will go for the path of least resistance. Ironically, Greer now SEEMS more reasonable than does Demers.

Tell me where I am wrong in this analysis. This case always seems to backfire in our face. I hope that they can get that woman out of that horrible hospice as soon as possible. I hope that hospice goes out of business ASAP.

I'm back. I'm not making this up, the woman at I think it was WB9 TV, I got the Web address from a post on this web site, they had a story on their web site. I called them, wwent through a phone tree finally called 727-437-2001, told them I ws calling form a midwest state and teh secretary gave my call to a woman who read word for word the A/P sorty and said it jsut came through the wires 10 minutes ago. I immediatly posted the info here. I have been hunting around at the A/P web site and it is not on the internet yet. and so far I don't see the AP story posted yet.
What I really liked is that the person I spoke with and it seemed to me to be more like and Editor type after reading me the exact A/P story explained it to me. I asked if they would be having it reported on their web site, she said they would but not as much as they usually post about her, so this "editor" type woman really knew this story, what they post and the details of the story. Like I said in my previous post she seemed in agreement that there is more to this story than jsut a simple "right to die" there is more here with HINO than meets the eye. She said that they would have something on their web site by 6pm their time. So I guess we should all jsut keep looking at that WB9 web site so we can all ead it for ourselves. She was impressed when i said that I cared about this and that I wasn't part of anything organized, that I have just been following this on the internet. I'll go back and find the web address for the WB9. But really what she read and the way she explained it this is GOOD news, Praise the Lord!!! I am sorry I have so many typo's I have a hand defromity and my fingers do not hit the keys in order my writing looks like I am syslexic frequesntly transposing the keys it is not that at all, I have a hand deformity. Back to this breaking news , PRAISE the Lord from the highest.

The studio is in L.A. The interviewed guests are never actually in the studio as all interviews are conducted via telephone hook-up. Geography shouldn't be an issue. Coast to Coast has about 400 affiliate stations that broadcast the show live in all national markets.

Judge Lets Parents Challenge Custody of Terri Schiavo

CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) - A state circuit judge Wednesday refused to block an effort by the parents of a brain-damage woman to try to get her husband removed as her legal guardian.
Attorneys for Michael Schiavo now have to respond in court to charges in the petition that he withheld proper care and therapy from his wife, Terri Schiavo, and that he has a conflict of interest because he's in a romantic relationship with another woman.

Bob and Mary Schindler, parents of Terri Schiavo, asked Circuit Judge George W. Greer to appoint Terri's brother or sister as guardian instead.

Schiavo had asked for the Schindler's request to be dismissed, but Greer refused.

In the past, Greer has repeatedly affirmed Michael Schiavo's legal right to remove Terri Schiavo's feeding tube and allow her to die, as he says she would have wished.

The guardianship issue is a sidebar to what is likely to be a major legal battle over a hastily passed state law that let Gov. Jeb Bush order the reinsertion of Terri Schiavo's feeding tube Oct. 21.

Michael Schiavo's attorney, with backing by the American Civil Liberties Union, has challenged the constitutionality of the law.
