Al saying that "we are in a Viet Nam in I-raq."
To: Shermy
did you hear Clark say that wounded soldiers have been lying in concrete buildings for MONTHS without any medical care????? This guy is nuts! I watched Lieberman's face while Clark was saying this and he looked disgusted...not that he'll probably say anything.

Well, flipping channels and I thought it was a Comedy Central skit. Unbelievable funny. They're actually showing Rock the Vote "videos" of each candidate. Someone must have sabatoged Edwards' because his mouth didn't match up with the words...how ironic.

Carol Brown says "we don't even have phone service that works here" what in the hell is she talking about? There is phones everywhere in the U.S....hell some people have 8 of them!
To: LisaMalia
Holy Joe says he would go back to the UN and turn over civilian administration of Iraq to the UN.
To: Unknown Freeper
So far, every Dem candidate has advocated giving the UN sovereign power and making the US a subservient entity.
Edwards and Braun just advocated the UN taking control of US foreign affairs.
[Were these people on vacation on 9-11-01?]
Add Lieberman to the UN advocacy list.

That rolling up the sleaves is so phony. All the candidates except for Al Sharpton are pandering to this audience in the clothing dept. They are either not wearing ties or they have their suit jackets off. Clark and Kucinich are wearing black over black outfits like Men In Black. Only Al Sharpton wearing a suit and tie.

Add Lieberman to the UN advocacy list A list containing about zero Iraqis, but hey, what do the Iraqis matter? The UN Food for Oil Scheme is important...

Braun was concerned about the $$$ spent on Iraq.
Was the 1st time she ever gave a damn about spending taxpayer $.
How did she approach the Pres directly about the war when she was not in office?
And how the hell would Kofi Annan be the absolute leader of Iraq with his qualifications? That would be one of his responsibilities at the UN. These Dims are d u m b.

I don't know...I'm still laughing from Sharpton's pontificating.
Here's to MANY more Dem debates in the coming months. We all need the comic relief!!!!!!!!
To: Unknown Freeper
I tuned in and they......
went to a commercial?Screw it....I'm going back to Shep.
To: TomGuy
Isn't it stunning that all the dims would give away our national security to a debating society made up of repressive regimes? It does appear the audience is eating it up -however - ah, youth!
To: Gunder
They bitch and moan about how politicians don't care about them, but they're about as informed as a box of lint. True. Recently on several local college campuses I mentioned that I saw a movie bio about Martin Luther. Almost all the students thought I was talking about Martin Luther King. When I explained who Martin Luther was, most of them still drew a blank. And when I mentioned the word "Reformation" the looks got even more quizzical.

Hey, they're playing to the MTV crowd. Thank God I raised two productive, intelligent children who didn't buy into this stuff.
Gotta go, they're playing Al's video....:)

Carol Brown says "we don't even have phone service that works here" Pay your bill, Carol.
They'll start working again.
To: Unknown Freeper
Kucinich seems to be under the illusion that a UN administration would be corruption free. Too bad Kofi and others at the UN made lots of money for themselves under the oil for food program in Iraq previously.
