Do you have reason to believe he is in league with Al-Quaeda?

Anyone who uses pot is supporting the terrorists. Haven't you seen the public service announcements on tv?

All drug law violaters, including Montel and Rush, should be rounded up and incarcerated in concentration camps.

We should include seat belt law violaters too, just to be on the safe side!

"Do you have reason to believe he is in league with Al-Quaeda? "

I was being sarcastic. Guess it was lost on you (and others perhaps?).

A story my dad like to tell:

One Sunday in church, while the congregation was standing and singing a hymn, a man noticed that the woman in front of him had her dress slightly "tucked" into her posterior.

Being a considerate man, he reached forward and with a tug, pulled the dress free. Well the woman, thinking him fresh, turned around and slapped him. Well the hymn was just ending, so the stunned man sat down.

During the next hymn, the woman turned around and slapped him again. The man, now clearly puzzled, exclaimed "Why did you do that? I was just putting it back!"

All manufactured illegal drugs should continue to be illegal.

Why? Some of them are safer than the natural derivatives, which include heroin.

That's my opinion.  Many illegally manufactured drugs have very bad side affects.  I've had too many unsavory experiences with people using these manufactured drugs.  The worst cases involved people that had developed schizophrenia and had children in their households.

Another good reason to keep these manufactured drugs illegal has to do with the toxic by-products they produce.  Why should my tax dollars go to cleaning up the mess they leave?

Realistically, I'd imagine most illegal manufactured drugs would disappear into the sunset if the naturally occurring drugs were legalized and regulated, just as alcohol is regulated.

BTW, which of these synthetic "illegal" drugs is safer than heroin?  I've no experience or knowledge in this area.

Many illegally manufactured drugs have very bad side affects.

Ditto for many illegal natural derivatives, e.g., heroin and cocaine.

Another good reason to keep these manufactured drugs illegal has to do with the toxic by-products they produce. Why should my tax dollars go to cleaning up the mess they leave?

That's a good reason to relegalize them---so their manufacturing processes can be regulated like those of any other legal product.

Realistically, I'd imagine most illegal manufactured drugs would disappear into the sunset if the naturally occurring drugs were legalized and regulated, just as alcohol is regulated.

I think relegalizing some but not all drugs is a reasonable step---but I don't agree that "naturalness" is a reasonable criterion.

BTW, which of these synthetic "illegal" drugs is safer than heroin?

I have no hard data, but it's my impression that Ecstasy, for instance, while not "safe," is safer than heroin.

Is this story for real? Not that it would surprise me if it was true, but I can't find anything at all on this on the web or at Fox 2's website. It's been several hours since this story was posted to this forum yet no one else seems to have heard anything about this incident.

Well... he did "play" a cadet in "An Officer and a Gentleman." Don't you think Montel favors Louis Gosset Jr's. character (or Chappy in Iron Eagle for that matter)? Well, they obviously have two things in common.

Why would anyone carry illegal drugs into the airport? Hello?

When I was a pot smoker I often carried it when I flew. I even smoked pot in the bathrooms in flight a few times.
Never had any problem.

Of course that was several years ago.
