...and CBS is in big, big trouble. Coming up next for those interested. Should be interesting since O'Reilly has taken a moderate position until viewing the movie.

Thanks radiohead!
"As a socialist/democrat"...no more, obviously!
My wife, when we first met, was a 'confused' Democrat. One time she was at my place (pre-marraige) and saw a book I was reading by Newt (Renew America?)..and said in a voice that Dem's use..."Newt Gingrich!?"
I simply asked..."Have you read the book?"
It was the beginning of her exodus from lies and innuendo into the light of truth...I did the same when Rush's name came up...etc.

79 was the year I was born.
In kindergarten my claim to fame in the 1984 campaign was a lady down the street called my mother because I kicked down her Walter Mondale yard sign. Of course my mom didn't punish me : ) Even at that age I had the Gipper's back.

"I kicked down her Walter Mondale yard sign." It's up...it's good! 3 points for The Gipper's Junior Varsity team!
Hysterical story! You don't know how great it feels to see young people, your age, love and treasure President Reagan like we do!
Congratulations! You must have slept during history class if you went to the government schools... :-)

Great post, NewLand! I have been looking for somebody who will say it like it really needs to be said. You just did. You really moved me, my man.
I consider Reagan the only real president that we have had - at least in my lifetime. And I have been around a while. I refused to even use the term for the criminal from Arkansas. The most despicable individual to hold the oval office in the history of this country.
The rest of the dims in the oval office were better - but not by much. Then there is the compromising Republicans. I admire GWB's courageous stand since 9/11, but I find it hard to call him a conservative. Not so Reagan. The only real conservative president we have had in modern times.

"Andy Rooney just said on Larry King's program that he, Rooney, wouldn't be surprised if CBS shelves the miniseries."
Very interesting, thanks for passing that on.
To: sasportas
Thanks for the kind words sasportas!
"I refused to even use the term for the criminal from Arkansas"
Me too. Even to this day.
Let's make certain he remains the most despicable of all time...cause there is one other criminal out there right now...lurking in the shadows like a cockroach...a criminal that makes Bubba look like Mr Rogers!
