A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

If I make a suggestion... anytime a new or common arabic phrase comes up in jihad statements... please ... run it through the "search: images with words" tool at this web site.
http://www.twexus.com/subpage_55/ Thanks. Ping me with interesting finds.
You never know what image a given Arabic word transliterated in English might reveal. And don't stop there, look also at slightly altered spellings. For example in the media today is see Ansar al-Haq is also being spelled in media reports an "Ansar el-Huq" and "Ansar ul-Huq'. That's just the nature of a phonetic language and its dialectic nuances when transliterated into English.
Always remember that Arabic is not translated per se, it is transliterated.

AFP: Terrorists Claimed Responsible for Egyptian Plane "Attentat"
2004-01-05 An unknown Islamic organization, self-named Ansar el-Hak or Justice Partisans, has claimed responsible for the "attentat" against the Egyptian charter jet, which crashed over Red Sea on Saturday. The anonymous man, who called at the local AFP section in Cairo, explained in Arab that the organization's headquarters is in Yemen and had kin relations with Osama bin Laden. He also warned of a coming terrorist act against Air France, unless France lifted the ban of wearing traditional Islamic shawls in French schools, recently introduced by President Jacque Shirak.

Does anyone have that graphic art piece with the French Concorde crashing into the Eifle Tower in the background with GW on the phone to ChIraq?
It would be real appropriate here.

My Bad. I didnt hear what town was referred to in the
chatter. Although I have yet to read all the 6000+ post on this thread, I just cant imagine Mt. Weather being any type of target.
Personally, I believe we(US) are being duped with all the chatter and messages. But it is very interesting to see how people interpret them.

"Damn the eastern connection is 2/3!!!"
But Valley Forge didn't lose power...interesting since Washington's B'day is at the end of the time frame.
Keep praying! There is no such thing as coincidence.

FYI
Gordon Thomas, author of Seeds of Fire, uncovers Chinas role in worldwide terrorism. Many of the weapons used by al-Qaida and the Taliban in Afghanstan came from Chinese dealers. Does Jiang Zemins regime turn a blind eye to international terror, and how should the Bush administration deal with our terrorist-arming strategic partner?

This tape was just audio wasn't it? I don't think this tape is anything but jihadi communications and psych ops. It might be an indicators of plan B( or C or D) going into effect.

Rather than the Bush Administration dealing with them, how about the American People? The American People could begin by not funding our "strategic partner." Stop buying cheap, chinese imported goods, buy American.

NEW CIA DOCUMENTS REVEAL CLINTONS BOMBING OF SUDAN HELPED BOLSTER SADDAM HUSSEIN AMONG ARABS
Top Secret Documents Unclassified By CIA In Response To Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act Request
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, reported today that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) released documents which detail how the Clinton Administrations bombing of a Sudanese pharmaceutical plant in 1998 contributed to helping bolster Saddam Hussein among Arab nations. The August 20, 1998 bombing of the al-Shifa plant occurred in the heat of the Lewinsky scandal, and most observers believe that the attack on the plant, which was alleged to have ties to Osama bin Laden, was a mistake. Judicial Watch received these documents only recently, over two years after they were requested from the CIA under the Freedom of Information Act in January, 2000.
The heavily redacted documents include Senior Executive Intelligence Briefs which discuss the al-Shifa attack. In a September 21, 1998 Senior Executive Intelligence Brief, under the topic Middle East: Currents Favor Saddam, the CIA reports:
Stalemate in the peace process, growing Arab dissatisfaction with sanctions against Iraq, and Arab anger over the US military strike in Sudan have added momentum to regional trends benefitting Saddam. Regional states wagering that sanctions will soon end are positioning themselves to gain from Iraqs anticipated reemergence as a viable player in the region
****
The US military strike last month against the al-Shifa plant in Sudan has fueled Arab perceptions of US hostility toward Muslims, increasing the political risk to US allies of siding with Washington to renew pressure against Saddam.
These newly released documents show that Clintons bombing of Sudan helped no one but Saddam Hussein. The Wag the Dog bombing gave Saddam Hussein time and breathing space, which he used to bolster his regime on the world stage and, as Judicial Watch and many other experts allege, to conspire with bin Laden to commit the worst attack on America in its history, stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

That's the way it usually goes, when everyone gets on the bandwagon it's too late. Buy high sell low isn't the goal. However, there will be more dips, as you stated, and one could get in then. I personally think gold has a lot further to go up. But again, I'm just jane q public - I just dabble.
