Howard Dean's wife Judith Steinberg accompanies Dean and their son Paul to a courtroom hearing last month. This was a rare public appearance by the former first lady of Vermont. Shown at right is a publicity photo released by the Dean Campaign.

From what I've read, she doesn't like political campaigning and actually expects to continue her practice if she becomes First Lady.
If Dean gets the nomination, it will be interesting to see how the networks and the major media deal with her.

Why should her looks matter. I'd love to see the pictures of the Freepers who are attacking her looks. There's enough to get Dean on his own, why must you go after the looks of his wife. No kidding. People here look so shallow when they start attacking someone's appearance. We have what we're born with. If she checked in for a few nip-&-tucks and braces for her teeth, people would then bitch about how superficial she was. Geez. It's times like this when I wish I could see through FReeper's monitors to see what THEY were born with. Did I mention this kind of self-righteousness irritates me?

It's not as though Dean is so handsome, you expect a knockout wife. Their looks are on the same level. If she's a two bagger she needs the extra for Dean's head.
At least she doesn't have the political ambitions of the Hilderbeast. She built her own career and she's sticking to it. It's refreshing after the Clinton histrionics.

Hey, I have a heck of an idea for a fund-raiser. Let's nominate a committee to screen posters. (Pick me! Pick me!) Anyone who comes in as more than a "one-bagger" has to pay a dollar per post or they get booted. Two-baggers pay a hefty surcharge.
If you're fat, that's an automatic three-bagger status. Exceptions allowed if your teeth are pearly white and straight -- you can post free as long as you're not too loud about it.
All four-baggers go straight to DU and forget about hanging out here. You're not good enough and never will be.
Five-baggers may as well start looking for Sadaam's shredder. It's hopeless.
