Celebrations Erupt Across Arab World after US Chopper Crash
Associated Press ^ | November 2, 2003 | nwrep

Cairo, Egypt-AP -- There are celebrations reported across the Arab world, after the news of more American casualties in Iraq.

Resistance to the occupation is applauded by some who see it as proof that Iraqis weren't totally humiliated by the relative ease of the U-S-led coalition's toppling of Saddam Hussein.

Many Arabs had warned an invasion of Iraq could drag the region into chaos. In Damascus today, foreign ministers from countries bordering Iraq again called on the U-S to restore order in that country.

You and all other patriots. It takes a tragedy of international/national proportion, like 9/11, to see where people really stand. Mainstream America now understands their enemies more and more; foreign and domestic.

Your more than welcome.

We are truly saddened every time we loose some of America's finest.

God bless you. Even if we lost in Vietnam, because of the leftists commies; never forget, your service and the service of others like you are indicative of America's finest.

I salute you.

Toespi:

I totally understand your anger. PiZZEs me off too...

But, having talked to wounded returning from Iraq, most Iraqis really are grateful for our liberation. Consider this to be the F-ing liberal media's attempt to make us believe that ALL Iraqis hate us and want us out...

Hey, if theres no news, they'll MAKE IT UP...

Cheers

LOL Tonk, thats one of the reasons we are here. You should have been on the other thread with me earlier. MEG33 tried to bail me out. But I was not having any of that.

Now if my neighbor does not control their dogs I might just pretend they are Fallujah. (just kidding). I think my neighbors are trying to start a kennel or something. Every day there are more and more dogs and pups, and they start yelping as soon as it gets dark. They are right by one of my bedroom windows. Grrrrrrrrr.

This was on Yahoo News today, but I never heard anything about it on cable news.
"Blast rips through oil pipeline in northern Iraq: official"

Not again.
If this continues everything else is we do may be for nothing. All Iraq has is oil. We can't get this country on it's feet if the major source of revenue is repeatedly sabatoged.

Thats how I feel also. The sabotagers have to be defeated first, if not we are wasting lives, money, and time. It was stated today on Fox News by someone that our guys don't go near Fallujah. I don't know what we are waiting for if we know that is where the enemy is, take them out now.

Thanks for the data.
One thing we do know for ceratin is that all the networks released the data
BEFORE the 2nd time zone in FL finished voting.
If I recall that is a heavy GOP area.
ALL the networks also influenced voter turnout inthe rest of the US by not waiting until ALL polls were closed nationwide.
That also had an effect on the lame "popular vote" whine we hear from the dims to this day.

Personally, I don't think this "Nation Building" exercise in Iraq is going to work.

Well, maybe we could try it out by taking the overwhelmingly Kurdish pro-American area north and east of the Tigris River and callingg it Kurdistan.

Next we could formet an overthrow of the dodderingg Mullah regime in Iran and help them form a secular Shiite state south and east of the Euphrates River.

Then, finally we could invite the Palestinians to come to what remained of central Iraq in the Sunni triangle, form their own state they've always been whining about-- a state with little or no oil, turn it over to the UN and-- first sign of terrorist or anti-American activity, turn it into a giant box of kitty litter.
