Stunning piece...DEAD ON!

The CBS's and there like no longer control the flow of information to the public at whole. Their days are numbered where they even have a significant voice. In other words their trying to rewrite history is history. I would shed a tear but alas I love it.

Wouldn't it be nice to take down Viacom? I'd like to see their execs tarred & feathered in a public square.
Now, that could definitely fill the programing space in place of the Reagan Movie.

I sent them an email last week saying that I would personally write and call each of the sponsors of the show and would work to extend a boycott to all involved. I think they got many letters like that.

Just 13 years ago or so, before Rush Limbaugh, Free Republic, Fox News, C-span, and the internet, the huge conservative majority of traditional Americans would have just rolled over, I bet Gore wishes he hadn't invented the internet.

This is censorship, says one source. A pressure group has had a major network rip this movie to shreds.
Now let me get this straight. When an individual erects a crucifix on his private property, and liberal left wing socialist pressure groups like the ACLU or People for the American Way win court cases to force the removal of said crucifix on private property that's not censorship. But when tens of thousands of individuals use their right to free speech to boycott a left wing propaganda piece, that is censorship. Nice double standard you commies. Himmler would be proud.

What do you mean you are going to sell it! And you edited out what scene? Are you total cowards? Are you going to allow yourself and history to be run out of town by these right wingers?
Its not just the right. We are hearing from everyone. We even had a call of complaint about the script from Susan Estrich, Babs.
And who is she. She is off my Christmas party list, that's who she is. She can knock on my door at Christmas for hours. She's not getting in. And don't call me Babs. Only my friends are allowed to call me Babs, some of them anyhow.

BS must be really upset. HA! HA!
He Touched Me ...
Unsuccessful vice presidential candidate Barbra Streisand (Democrat). Picked by a desperate President Al Gore in his 2004 re-election race, hungry to shore up the female vote after photos of then-Vice President Bob Kerrey in a ménage with Debra Winger and Jack Nicholson were discovered, Streisand's foray into electoral politics was an unmitigated disaster. She even lost the middle-aged-Northeast-liberal-Jewish-woman's vote. "Papa? Can you hear me?" she sang to the incredulous Democratic Party conventioneers in Malibu that summer. Her campaign commercials were criticized by many in the media for, as NBC's Brian Williams put it, "being short on substance, and long on legs. And what's with the soft lighting? What, does she think we're idiots?" So insistent upon casting herself as her own campaign manager, pollster, handler, and media consultant, Streisand collapsed in a fit of exhaustion while pressing flesh in New Mexico. Hubbie James Brolin rushed her off to the hospital; she was never heard from or seen again.

Barbra Streisand is emerging from self-imposed retirement as an entertainer to help out her old pals in the Democratic Party. Two years after bidding farewell to her career as a public performer Streisand will sing nine songs at a benefit for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, organizers said September 24, 2002. Streisand is seen backstage at the Academy Awards in Hollywood, March 24. Photo by Mike Blake/Reuters |

So that's the definition of censorship: protesting against slander. Okay. They are so predictable, arn't they. Good point you make.

All I could think was how apoplectic Hallmark must be at the prospect of losing conservative customers :o) Hallmark: when you care enough to send pure propoganda...or pure liberal BS...
To: Cincinatus' Wife
The script was vetted by two teams of lawyers, and producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, who would not be interviewed by NEWSWEEK, have insisted that every fact (though not every line of dialogue) is supported by at least two sources. Like the National Enquirer and Newsweek, who always make sure that their stuff is supported by at least one source. [source=person who's willing to say, "That's what I saw. Yes, sir!"]

See, the problem can't be fixed that way, cuz it's entire point- of-view is one of A HIT PIECE. Even more on Nancy than Ron, but he's shown being controlled by HER. So how bad does THAT look? Exactly... I bet the CBS lawyers/evaluators have looked at this and concluded there is probably 20 minutes of "fair and balanced" portrayal... Just in the casting, and the representation of the characters, I'm sure bias shines through in TECHNICOLOR. The stupid people at CBS wouldn't perceive "bias" in anything they do.
