Major dittos to that statement. Several people over the past week asked my opinion on who to vote for. My reply I only vote a straight Republican ticket any more because a democrat will always walk the dnc line and do as they say.
A former democrat committee person.

An informed public CAN counteract any abuse of power.

In the commercial world, yes.

I am an advertizer on our local CBS affiliate. I personally walked in and had my ads pulled from anything with a leftist agenda. They were not amused, but thats just tough. I'm sure that word was sent to corporate that they have one really pissed off client.

Thank you for refusing to support leftist America-haters! I hope more advertisers realize what's going on and have the backbone to pull their ads too.

So you not only talk the talk, you walk the walk!!!

Congratulations, and thank you.

Years ago I was a story board artist invited by a local ad agency to do a commercial for the Olympics. When I walked into the meeting I realized it wasn't a commercial for the Olympics, but a product (which I didn't believe in) advertised during the Olympics. They were shocked when I turned it down...that was a very long walk to the door.

A different client soon offered some very wholesome, steady work with saner deadlines...work which has lasted 18 years! I just know integrity gets rewarded eventually.

We need to get a copy of the original cut and start our own Media Shennanigan's museum. It would exhibit proof that Hollyweird and the DNC work hand in hand in their propoganda efforts to mislead the American people.

“This is censorship,” says one source. “A pressure group has had a major network rip this movie to shreds.”

This statement is pure tripe of course. Censorship only happens when the government does it. The fact that SeeBS's viewership objects to this hit piece is not censorship. It's a rare case of the public making a positive value judgement.

But I do like the use of the term "pressure group". It is much more descriptive that "activists", IMHO. A lot of groups out there, especially on the left, exist for the sole purpose of pantomiming exerting pressure while concentrating mostly on fund-raising. I like the term "pressure group" because it strips these groups of the nominal fiction that they are acting to do anything.

And, next question, who's the idiot at Showtime who's going to put that operation in the crapper by laying out $9 mil for this revisionist hit piece?

Showtime is the network that runs "Queer as Folk" and all those pro-abortion movies.

And, yet, Al Gore keeps talking about the need to create a liberal TV channel to counterbalance all the 'conservative' ones. Sheesh.

This has to be a major embarassment for the lame CBS management. The money they paid to produce this turkey is gone. They are carrying the product on their books as an "asset". You succeed in business by selling the assets you produce for more money than they cost to produce. If I were Sumner Redstone, I'd cut my losses, bury this turkey and make a few heads roll over at the CBS subsidiary. The loss of "good-will" and the serious threat of a libel suit (entailing more loss of good-will) make this asset a real white elephant. A good poker player knows when to fold. (Or "Don't throw good money after bad.")

What makes you so sure Sumner Redstone wasn't the one who thought up the turkey in the first place?

I called up Jeff Wald myself, and suggested he reconsider his comment about Mike Reagan being a member of the Lucky Sperm Club.

Are not CBS and Shotime both viacom? This transaction is smoke and mirrors.

Hallmark would still dirstribute this overseas.

How do you sell it to yourself? Are not showtime and CBS both viacom? Paper losses and profits. They are trying to figure out how to cook the books to CYA.

Something stinks in Denmark.

You may be right about the Viacom connection. I think Cinemax and HBO are related. It's all so incestuous. LOL!!!!
