LOL! I like that stance. It's so manly. It's so dramatic. He should get into show business.

Please allow me to clarify. He should be Barney Fife's sidekick. Barney could hold the bullet for him.

Ho hum. Standard, "RAT-photo-op-with-shotgun". Do thay have one shotgun they send to different states? How about that vest ketchup boy is wearing? Does he look like he ever touched a shotgun before? At least he should have had couple minutes of training before he appeared in front of the cameras.
I keep hoping one of the colorful local guides the RATS hire to hold the gun and the "kill" (probably from the frozen foods department of Safeway) will turn on the b*****ds some day.
I would say the way the RATs have to use these guides reminds me of the way royalty "hunts", but that would be unfair to real royalty. A few years ago Queen Elizabeth caused a mini-row in Britain when she personally wrung the neck of a wounded pheasant. Now that's my kind of leader!

    He's very French looking!

Didn't he serve in Vietnam?

Love those photos and captions above.

I hope a real Iowa Pheasant hunter will check in here to comment on these photos.

I am not totally conversant on Iowa Hunting Regs, but I don't think the good Senator is wearing enough Blaze to be within the law.

Call me a redneck if you wish, but the only other person with a shooting stance like that I am aware of, is Jeb McCoy, and I think he had a bad back.

Didn't he serve in Vietnam?Yeah, so we've been told.
He's still a weenie.
This is the dipshit that threw his some other poor fool's medals over the White House fence, in protest of the war.
Quite the fool, he is.
And very french looking, too.

Don't you break a double barrel if you not in the act of hunting?

Off to the NRA hunting safety site for me.

    LOL, what a clown.

I bagged a hen pheasant with a Renault last year while driving in the UK. I didn't need no stinkin' guide.

Why does the image of Dukakis in the M-1 wearing a CVC helmet come to mind? Oh yeah, because both that pic and this are such pathetic attempts to pander to people who aren't going to vote for them anyway!

I was in error with my speculation that the Senator was not legally garbed in Blaze.
Iowa DNR regs below,, you need to scroll down a bit to find them.
http://www.iowadnr.com/wildlife/pdfs/2003webregs.pdf Having some troubles with my hip and back. No travel in my immediate future. I had to cancel a trip into town origionally scheduled for this weekend.
Meeting which is generally in Dec at the time of the DC FReeper Christmas party has been moved to Phoenix for this year. I will reluctantly go to Phoenix and sit by the pool and whine because I'm not in DC ;>)
Hugs to all
