I have been considering the purchase of one of this company's rifles when I return home to the States. This action by them definetly makes that a wise consideration.

Companies like this, who take a stance and actually DO something for their customers, should be supported. I just wish more of them would go public with stances like this.

The company has a forum at their website. This would be a good place to voice your support.

BTW, Armalite also has been making a LOT of weapons used by our troops in the war.

OK, here's a question. I have a post-ban Armalite M-15A2 that I bought for no other reason than because Bill Clinton didn't like guns. I've mainly used it to terrorize woodchucks around my hunting & fishing camp.

Aside from the obvious feature of being able to bayonet wounded woodchucks [that's a joke, son], can anybody give me any practical reason to go to all the trouble to convert it into a PPB configuration?

Hey, I saw the Average White Band in concert when I was in high school. I liked their music.

If NJ had more rifle ranges, I'd by an Armalite product.

Unless yer going 7.62 from these guys or Reed Knight's SR25 I have to suggest Bushmaster for all yer AR needs.

As to this story.......I plan on getting new uppers with a bayonet lug and regular flash supressor and a couple dozen C-Mag's and a hunnerd or so 30 rounders for all my AR's M1A's , Mini-14's , AK's and FN's. Not because I need em .......just because I can......:o)

Any company with an overseas operation would or could gamble on the AWB dying on the vine and start manufacturing HiCap magazines "now" without the sure to be a collectors item "LEO USE ONLY" HiCap logos. Ready for sale as the sun rises on our beloved republic again..........hopefully. Personally I plan on dropping some serious coin on my possible future needs to preclude my shortages brought about by my stoopid "it could never happen here" attitude.

But a warning to all of these companies that will prey on my desire to restock my magazine closet with new........DO NOT PRICE GOUGE US ! during the feeding frenzy or else . Gone should be the day forever when one can trade 8 new hiCap beretta magazines for a new beretta pistola.

Stay Safe LC !!

Absolutely - and I've had excellent luck with Armalite products and service, and would not hesitate to recommend any of their gear.

IMO Armalite makes the best production AR's available.

If the AWB is not sunsetted, or is renewed and/or strengthened, I have sent my last dollar to the Republican Party; and I've told them so directly via e-mail and the US Postal System. From then on, my discretionary cash will go into other venues.....like ammo buying for target practice. Better to enjoy the remaining vestiges of a once-free America than to pretend its still viable. And damn all politicians to hell. For me, the renewal of this rotten piece of unconstitutional trash will be a watershed moment.

Alone I can't do anything about it except to protest; and my meager money donations to the Repubos probably doesn't mean much to them, they could get along without it; but I don't think they can afford to piss off several million of their base voters. And if they have any smarts at all, they will know that they can't win without this base.

If those 'distinguished gentlemen' are no different then the RAT-commies on the other aside of the aisle, then let's get it right up front and go to plan B.

The smartest thing this company is doing is telling people to vote.

Registering Voters is the most urgent thing we need to do. The Democrat stratedy (from an inside source) is to get non-regular or occasional voters to vote in 2004. This is their below the radar strategy.

It also dovetails with a fraud theory if a number on unexpected people vote.
