Poway I-15 evacuated, flames smoke I-15 & Miramar Road. Seems like most of these fires began around I-15 last few days. Wind in some areas not others.

I know an environmentalist loon, and she told me that although she personally wouldn't destroy property, she "sympathizes" with ELF and their ilk. I asked about the mindet behind the violence, and she said that "urban sprawl" is the the greatest of all evils to many enviros, and they see it as their duty to stop it in its tracks.....and that any method is fair game. These people literally see themselves as "Earth Warriors," and the destruction of private property a "sacred duty."

Personally, I think they should be designated a terrorist group and the lot of them sent to Gitmo.

Valley View Casino engulfed in smoke earlier. Traffic now has calmed down in that area.

These fires are definately hurting the economy. I lived in the High Desert of LA county when I was young, and remember the fall fire season well. Arson occurs every year, but this does almost seem "coordinated"

There are currently just five people inside for ELF style actions.

Three of those jailed are people who have never claimed to be Earth Liberation Front activists but who have carried out activities simular to the ELF and are therefore listed on this page. These jailed eco-activists are:

Iöaki Garcia Koch, Carcel de Pamplona, C/San Roque. Apdo. 250, 31080 - Iruöez - Pamplona, Navarra (Espaöa), Spain Serving just under 5 years for sabotaging a contoversial dam construction site.

Jeffrey Luers, #13797671, OSP , 2605 State St. Salem, OR 97310, USA. Serving 22 years & 8 months for arson on a car dealership & attempted arson of an oil truck.

Craig Marshall, #13797662, SRCI, 777 Stanton Blvd, Ontario, OR 97914 USA. Serving 5 years 5 months for conspiracy to commit arson and possession of incendiary devices, having used the devices to destroy SUV's to raise attention to the environmentally destructive nature of these vehicles.

The other two who are jailed are both self-confessed former Earth Liberation Front activists turned police informants. They are both currently imprisoned because of their cooperation with the police.

The two traitors are Jared McIntyre III, the world's first ever ELF police informant, who is currently jailed awaiting sentencing after confessing to a number of house construction arsons. McIntyre III is facing a possible mandatory minimum five years inside. The second traitor is Jacob Sherman, the world's second and only other ELF police informant, who is serving 41 months for two ELF arsons. Both are jailed somewhere in America. We don't know exactly where and we don't care - they receive no support from the ELF Press Office or any other political prisoner support organizations.

One thing that is interesting to note is that despite all the ELF actions around the world, which continue to happen on a regular basis, there are only two actual self proclaimed former ELF activists currently inside. Both of these former activists turned police informants after their arrests. Both police informants are currently inside. None of the people they grassed against are currently inside. Think about it!

If you are arrested do not name names. Helping the police with their enquiries will not save you from a prison sentence. All it achieves is the exposing of the police informant as a cowardly gutless traitor who will quite rightly be despised by the Earth Liberation Front movement and they will receive no support whilst they are inside.
