I know an environmentalist loon, and she told me that although she personally wouldn't destroy property, she "sympathizes" with ELF and their ilk. I asked about the mindet behind the violence, and she said that "urban sprawl" is the the greatest of all evils to many enviros, and they see it as their duty to stop it in its tracks.....and that any method is fair game. These people literally see themselves as "Earth Warriors," and the destruction of private property a "sacred duty."

Personally, I think they should be designated a terrorist group and the lot of them sent to Gitmo.

You may get you wish if this fire is linked to ELF. The conservatives in Congress just might act on some bills that Oregon and California conservative congressmen have been trying to get on the big table, declaring these Watermelon Enviralists as Eco Terrorists.

Arrest them and send them to Gitmo. I volunteer to go question them with barrels of Versed IV and my grand kids's Barney dolls that sing 24/7, "I love You!". I will have these ELF terrorists singing like trained birds in a few hours.
