Good! I hope Greta has her on the show.

"Get this girl out in the media to tell her story !!!!!!!!!!" That is a good idea. I will send the information to Greta. Perhaps she would be interested. Someone have Sean's email address. He might as well.

"Did she ever file an affidavit with the court stating this?" I don't know. I doubt it. I can't think why they would have even had her do that. I believe they thought they were going to pull this off covertly and it just hasn't quite worked out that way.

The reason why she should have filed an affidavit would be to show consistency with the fact that PMS did not love his wife and there was abuse and fear of him.

Most likely the Schindlers know, but want to keep to the high road. Think what Schiavo and Felos and their champions in the media would say, if the Schindlers sacrificed the privacy of some innocent teen.
As it is, the media will dig it up and the Schindlers will get the blame anyway. If it's true, t'll come out. Count on it.
To: MSCASEY
I don't get the impression that the Schindlers' attorney is the sharpest sword in the litigation arsenal. Nothing agaisnt her. I expect she is very dedicated to them, but dedication isn't much to work with against an arrogant charlatan like Felos.

You're not alone, sweetliberty. This case wasn't supposed to go this long or this far, and now she's outgunned. Not to mention out-financed. Felos can tap Terri's medical funds, Anderson can't. This leaves her clients at a serious disadvantage. She needs a power team of lawyers now, plus a PR firm to counteract the opposition. That takes $$$.

Simple, They are not conservatives. Most of these pro death FReepres are libertarians of the Libertarian
Objectivist "Ayn Rand" school. These people are as atheistic and pro death in a lot of cases as ANY DemocRAT
though they do share conservative views on guns and economics. I really think that JimRob should consider ZOT!!
and Kitties for at least Objectivist Libertarians because
like DUers they DO NOT really share the views that Free Republic is trying to present to the world in my opinion.

>> I truly believe that the only reason he wants her dead so much is because he never wants her to come out of this and point the finger at him for battering her almost to death. He wants to finish what he started that night.
That's certainly one reason. There's another that I've never seen anyone mention. When she's dead, he'll own her estate -- and it will be worth millions. Think of the movie, TV and book rights to her life! For all anyone knows, there could be Terri dolls and Terri cards and Terri trinkets and Terri merchandise of every sort.
Millions. Schiavo knows it. Those nurses swore under oath that Michael would say things like, "Is the b**** dead yet?" and "I'm going to be rich!"

Maybe one of them could point me to where Ayn Rand endorsed euthanizing the disabled?
To: T'wit; Budge
Budge was just playing some links to video that had been on the local news down there a couple of years ago. I believe they are posted on
this thread. Amazing how much has been ignored by the courts. There is no way that woman is vegetative. Of course, we already knew that, but everything I see is just even more convincing. Schiavo wants that woman dead, and that's all he is concerned about at this point and he and Felos will do anything, say anything to get it accomplished. They are working WAY too hard to
conceal the truth don't you think?

Go back and reread the three nurses' affidavits. They all interacted with her to a remarkable degree as they cared for her.

It isn't her writings but her ATHIESM that drives many modern Objectivist Libertarians just as Atheism drives many Socialists. Atheism naturally negates the idea of sanctity of life that can only originate form a Creator God.

I have read them. I know. I just continue to be amazed that they are trying to kill her. If they succedd, none of us will be safe, at least not for long.

I believe you. I don't follow atheists around, Randian-libertarian or not. But I've read Rand pretty thoroughly. They can't cite Rand for euthanizing anybody. She wouldn't have approved of starving Terri to death.
She considered the right to life paramount and, by her lights, sacred.
And if she didn't believe in God, for sure she wouldn't have believed in Michael Schiavo.

Y'know, from another angle, it's even worse than that. They are doing all this frantically, whether they can cover up the truth or not and REGARDLESS of what anyone thinks. They've got to kill her off, moot the investigations, and get her estate safely into Michael's hands -- it's going to be worth millions.

I listened to Pat Anderson expound on the case for an hour yesterday. I think she's terrific. She has it all at her fingertips and presents the case in striking moral terms. She's intelligent and has obviously worked like a hill of ants.
You're right, of course, that Felos and his team have large advantages, but class isn't one of them. They are unscrupulous where Anderson is not. They have much more money -- Terri's treatment money! They can play the liberal media like a big-mouth bass. And, somehow, they own Judge Greer.
We ourselves can supply some of the firepower needed, so I have some hope we can level the playing field.
