"Did she ever file an affidavit with the court stating this?" I don't know. I doubt it. I can't think why they would have even had her do that. I believe they thought they were going to pull this off covertly and it just hasn't quite worked out that way.

The reason why she should have filed an affidavit would be to show consistency with the fact that PMS did not love his wife and there was abuse and fear of him.

Most likely the Schindlers know, but want to keep to the high road. Think what Schiavo and Felos and their champions in the media would say, if the Schindlers sacrificed the privacy of some innocent teen.
As it is, the media will dig it up and the Schindlers will get the blame anyway. If it's true, t'll come out. Count on it.
