It isn't her writings but her ATHIESM that drives many modern Objectivist Libertarians just as Atheism drives many Socialists. Atheism naturally negates the idea of sanctity of life that can only originate form a Creator God.

I believe you. I don't follow atheists around, Randian-libertarian or not. But I've read Rand pretty thoroughly. They can't cite Rand for euthanizing anybody. She wouldn't have approved of starving Terri to death.
She considered the right to life paramount and, by her lights, sacred.
And if she didn't believe in God, for sure she wouldn't have believed in Michael Schiavo.
