UPDATE FROM TERRI'S VIGIL SITE ON LOCATION... by floriduh voter and drk4the1: TERRI IS NOT BEING RE-HYDRATED AT MORTON PLANT HOSPITAL IN CLEARWATER, FL. The Governor's Office is under the impression and reporting that the procedure started at 7:07 pm. While it's being reported to the family attorney that she is not going to receive anything. A telephonic hearing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm est with Judge Douglas Baird re: Michael Schiavo's suit against Gov. Bush and his executive order of today. Additionally, Michael S. is disputing his removal as Terri's legal guardian. Anything helpful appreciated. Contact floriduh voter or the drk screen name. We are outside fighting the mosquitoes. I read on cnn.com that there is only $50,000 left of the fund for Terri's care and rehabilitation and the court has frozen that amount. Her husband has paid alot of the money to lawyers in his bid to have her unhooked. I don't think they want anyone to see a accounting of those funds

Can't the police be called now? Isn't this a law being broken? The police CAN'T guard Terri's room preventing norishment now. BUT they can stop the Schiavos from keeping her from getting it.

They are defying the Governor's order!!!! Hospice and Morton Plant Hospital both refused to hydrate her claiming the law passed today is unconstitutional and therefore, they are afraid of being sued. Michael Schiavo's attorney is threatening to sue any doctor who provides feeding or care to her - this is unbelievable and surreal!!!! Terri is still without any food or water and is under armed guard! Totally insane - totally evil!!

Meanwhile I filed a formal complaint today with Ashchroft - it went to several Catholic senators as well - DC is listening...someone needs to pull off a political miracle!!

Text of Bush's Excecutive Order

Bush issued Executive Order 03-201, which states that

"Effective immediately, continued withholding of nutrition and hydration from Theresa Schiavo is hereby stayed.

"Effective immediately, all medical facilities and personnel providing medical care for Theresa Schiavo, and all those acting in concert or participation with them, are hereby directed to immediately provide nutrition and hydration to Theresa Schiavo by means of a gastronomy tube or by any other method determined appropriate in the reasonable judgment of a licensed physician.

"While this order is effective, no person shall interfere with the stay entered pursuant to this order. And,

"This order shall be effective until such time as the governor revokes it."

Johnny Byrd was great. Unflappable (pun intended), kept saying "We have to err on the side of life." Near the end with Hannity he said "We need to let this beautiful young lady go home where her parents can care for her and have the quality of life that she can have." He sounded like a very good man.

The woman was taken by ambulance later Tuesday from the hospice where she had gone without food or water for six days.

At a Clearwater hospital, she was being given fluids, a preliminary step toward reinserting the feeding tube.
