The Governor's Office is under the impression and reporting that the procedure started at 7:07 pm. While it's being reported to the family attorney that she is not going to receive anything. A telephonic hearing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm est with Judge Douglas Baird re: Michael Schiavo's suit against Gov. Bush and his executive order of today. Additionally, Michael S. is disputing his removal as Terri's legal guardian. Anything helpful appreciated. Contact floriduh voter or the drk screen name. We are outside fighting the mosquitoes. If Governor Bush is now her guardian, how is it that Michael Schiavo is still barring her family's access to her

As I read the law, Bush isn't her guardian, but can order a new guardian to be appointed for her. However, a court must actually appoint the new guardian, and the bill was passed not even 24 hours ago. I believe someone else posted that there was supposed to be a hearing on appointing a new guardian this afternoon, but I have been reading so much on so many different threads I can't remember where I read it. Would love for someone with more info to say when that hearing will be.

I read of someone who came out of a coma after 19 years. There have been other cases also. In Terri's case, didn't the husband prevent her from getting therapy? Seems he should face abuse charges.

At this time, we're supposed to save our pennies and not call Jeb Bush, etc. If we need to mobilize again at some point we will.

There is a hearing going on right now and maybe the family will get to see Terri soon and find out her medical condition.

I still think it's not a bad idea to contact Bob Marshall in the Beltway just so that he knows that Morton Plant Hospital is not letting the family see her but at Hospice, they had visitation rights.

Calls to Bob Marshall can be just in the form of an update to him since he called the hospital last night. His phone number is earlier on this thread.

Just spoke with Gov. Bushs' office. I asked how can MS still issue orders if Bush is guardian, and is the governor even aware of what MS is doing? He said my message would be delivered.

Just spoke to the Governor's Office, who said the staff was not aware that Terri's family was not visiting. I did ask how that could be if the Governor were her guardian ~ he said the Governor was NOT her guardian.

I told him the internet was now abuzz with information that the family was prohibited visitation, and that the Governor's office should gear up for an onslaught of calls and e-mail. I specifically requested that he make the Governor immediately aware that the family was barred. He said he would.

This is do know: Hubby's legal team appear to have a tight grip on the hospital. They are refusing to allow the family to see Terri and they still do not know what her medical status is. I think that's quite cruel. Maybe Michael hubby won't be the guardian after today. We have to sit tight. Please see tag line.
