I take interest in the December mention. Everything I've seen indicated they were planning on wiping out America before the start of Ramadan. The idea being the Ramadians could withstand a catastrophe that would leave large population centers without water and food. The Ramadan "conditions" these folks for hardship by imposing strict daylight fasting and the like. Maybe we put enough of a kink in their plans with recent kill/captures that they are scrambling to launch the attack in December. Pushing the date back to December is indeed curious.

What exactly do you do if your the government of America and 6 or 7 population centers get contaminated with a cobalt dirty bomb or worse? Do you nuke half the world's population in retaliation?
