After 6 years on this forum, this is my very first "Vanity" posting!
Travis Magee sent his book in E-Book form to me and I have just finished it.
I am totally blown away! I consider this book to be the most important book I've ever read!
It contains a depth of knowledge that absolutely astounds me!
Old-timers know about Ruby Ridge, Waco, TWA-800, and clinton's treasonous dealings with the Red Chinese, and some know how close we came in '95 to a shooting resistance.
So, I recommend this book to all who may want to see why this book may instill enough trepidation in this government to refrain from making the mistake of further trashing our Constituion!
And Jeff, find out from Matt how he sent me his book and send me yours too! Ha!

I really enjoyed this book also. It only took me 3 days to read, and there are only a few books that I've liked to the point where I couldn't put them down. "Enemies Foreign and Domestic" was one of them.
Travis was kind enough to autograph two books I purchased from him. So I just ordered another one from amazon.com that I could loan out to acquantiances (sp). Maybe I'll buy a few more and mail the books to public officials.

I gave it to my brother-in-law once I was done. 1st book he has read in decades. My 70 year old mom is reading it now. I better watch out she will want a machine gun to go in the back of her pick-up truck!!!!

Thanks, I guess we can visit relatives for a week, or eat out of the yard. I guess there are enough pears, scuppernongs, pecans, and kumquats to keep us alive.
The poor dog won't get any scraps tho.
It will be worth it to read something which wasn't written by some artistic namby pamby.

Actually I wish I had some talent. I guess it is just jealousy. I can't even draw a decent stick man.
I also can't sing, even my Mother told me I couldn't. The funny thing is artistic ability runs in my family. My Niece recently had a show in New York City.

My Dad, on the other hand, adopted me, has three paintings in the Smithsonian, and retired with a Director's medal from the Agency.
Colour me proud.

I have diabetic retinopathy so I can read only what I can put on my computer screen! This is the first book I've actually read in well over 12 years.I think you'll find that many books are available in E versions. You might have to have a specific e book reader. I've seen e-books on both barnesandnoble.com and amazon.com. Most new books should be available in that format, and once you've invested in the reader, they are cheaper than hard copy books.
I think I'd go crazy if I went twelve years, or even twelve days, between books. (Although admittedly I did go for 6 weeks while I was at AFROTC field training, but even then I did read, textbooks and manuals)

All of the volumes of my
Dragon's Fury Series come out in Printed (Trade Paperback), Adobe Reader and Microsoft Reader format.
Abouth 25-30% of my sales are eBooks. I get a lot of comments and reviews on them and folks who are gravitiating that way are very appreciative.
For me...I still like a good book to read while laying in bed. It just doesn't feel the same on a cool night to have the covers pulled up, a mug of hot chocklate and laptop or PocketPC there...gotta have a book in that setting...at least for me.
Nonetheless, from the get-go I have made sure I had both major reader versions available for my books. I believe I have gotten quite a few sales I othwerwise would have missed.
