Gov. Bush calls special session over Terri Schiavo

TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.

The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.

Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

Biography:

Judge Moore was appointed to the Middle District of Florida by President Ronald Reagan in 1981.  He hails from Atlantic City, New Jersey, received his B.S. degree from Syracuse University and his JD degree from the University of Florida College of Law.  Prior to attending law school he served in the U.S. Naval Reserve, with active duty in the Korean Theater , and retired from the Reserve in 1971 at the rank of Commander. Judge Moore commenced his law practice with Fisher & Phillips in Atlanta, Georgia, became a partner in Fleming, O’Bryan and Fleming of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and finished his practice in the private sector with Turner, Shaw and Moore in Fort Lauderdale having served as the School Board attorney for Broward County, Florida. Judge Moore was appointed to the Circuit Court for the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida and was the Circuit’s chief judge from 1975 to 1977.  He was appointed to the 4th District Court of Appeal in 1977. He served as chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida from 1992 to 1995 when he assumed senior status and has served on numerous law related committees, the last of which was the Judicial Resources Committee of the Judicial Conference of the United States.

Worse STILL more bad news in this blackout over Schiavo, I just tried to call Rush (some dip from Wisconsin is hosting) and I made it to the call screener (surprising since I have ALWAYS gotten busy signals), and Snerdly said first to "call back in the 3rd hour" so i did, then he says I don't think he's going to have time to discuss this issue with the whole sports thing, Kobe Bryant, etc call back if he brings it up... and he hangs up!!! Someone needs to have Bo Snerdly's head!!! Talk about evil working overtime, because if Rush was here now he would be talking this thing till he was blue in the face!!!!

If true, senator King needs to recuse himself from the matter and let someone else take it over. It is a clear conflict of interest for Sen. King to have any say in this matter.

This is a WAR to save this woman's life, everyone get on the phones, call Jeb, call Greer, Call the Florida Bishops, Call the Vatican, call President Bush, call SCOFLA, make such an outcry to all the powers that be that they have no choice to listen to us. If we act seperately and fractured, we will hang seperately, and Terri will die. Call every radio station you can, flood sports talk shows with calls on this, flood music stations with calls on this, we are in a state of WAR for not only this woman's life, but for the heart and sould of our country.. we must fight on the streets, fight on the news networks, fight on the airwaves, but we must never surrender!!!!!
