Terri Schiavo - CALL TO ACTION - Tallahassee Area

As you may already know, Gov Jeb Bush has not yet taken steps to protect the life of Terri Schindler-Schiavo. This is in spite of memorandums of law from several notable legal scholars ensuring him that he has the legal authority and obligation to do so. People in the Tallahassee area of Florida are encouraged to hold vigil at the capitol offices as well as the Governor's mansion. Signs and banners can be fashioned inexpensively and will assist you in getting your message across. Please spread the word. Thank you.

The judge won't let the staff give her food or water by mouth, either. That is evil. Anyone that says it isn't hasn't thought through the ramifications. A baby can't feed himself. How far are we going to let this go?

Pardon me NEWBYBOY, but I havent followed this story as closely as some of you have. I didnt know that there was a website.
If you'd pull your head out of your butt and try to comprehend what I just wrote you would realize that I was not defending her husband, only asking questions and speculating.
I noticed that you just registered today. Is that possibly because you have been banned before for being an ass?

Thank you, I did not know this, its does indeed sound evil. Why this decision, does the court consider her to be brain dead?
And thank you for the civilized response, some here seem incapable of that.

According to the court, and all the news we see on tv, Terri is in a coma. The judge determined that she was in a coma after hearing from two Drs for Michael Schiavo (including one who travels all over the country doing right to die testimony) say that she was in a persistive vegetative state and hearing more than 10 Drs for the Schindlers stating that she was not in a coma and could improve with therapy. Furthermore, the Doctor never allowed video or audio evidence in the court in order to see for himself her condition.

(recieving nourishment through a tube is not natural),That's quite true. Neither is setting a bone or taking antibiotics.
... it seems to me that it would be much easier on him to have divorced her and let here parents make her medical decisions.
It would have. They wanted him to. The settlement money is hers. If he relinquishes guardianship the money goes with her.
Does he have anything to gain from continuing this battle? Blowing money on attorneys seems to be of no benefit unless there is still a lot of money left.
There is a lot left. It is being used up while she is alive. He gets what's left when she is dead.
I thought that in a settlement like this the money could not be touched by anyone except for her care.
Apparently not true here.
As for the other woman, its been what?..13 years? His wife is dead to him.
So much for the 'for better or worse'. She is, in fact, not dead. Yet.
Is it possible that he really is doing what he truly believes his wife would want?
Go to the link I posted in #10 and take two minutes to read the bullet points I made there. Each one is true and they are not exhaustive. Then tell me who's interests he seems to be concerned about.

Where the hell is Oprah? Is she doing a show on why women should be disarmed today or will it be about hairstyles that help you look smaller than the neighbor's Buick?

STILL NEEDED: A mighty, unrelenting chorus before the Throne of Grace that Terri be released from this pit of evil and restored to her parents for as many days as God determines ~

A feeding tube in your stomach is not nature either. At least I know that I dont seem to have one.Diabetics taking insulin is not nature either. So do you think my son should be allowed to die?
Lots of people work and live with the use of feeding tubes, people like Rose Kennedy, who used one for years.
Feeding tubes, Neither new nor rare
Feeding tubes have been used for 100 years and about 848,000 people in this country should be killed, according to your statement, if they are so "not nature".
Geeze, get an education next time. :-)
