Terri Schiavo - CALL TO ACTION - Tallahassee Area

As you may already know, Gov Jeb Bush has not yet taken steps to protect the life of Terri Schindler-Schiavo. This is in spite of memorandums of law from several notable legal scholars ensuring him that he has the legal authority and obligation to do so. People in the Tallahassee area of Florida are encouraged to hold vigil at the capitol offices as well as the Governor's mansion. Signs and banners can be fashioned inexpensively and will assist you in getting your message across. Please spread the word. Thank you.

Let the poor woman die with a little dignity. Enough of this!

>>Let the poor woman die with a little dignity.
I don't know how "dignified" it is to have an innocent woman condemned to death by starvation and dehydration.

I don't know how "dignified" it is to have an innocent woman condemned to death by starvation and dehydration. The woman is clinically dead. Has been for years. Don't try to emotionalize it. It's time to let nature take its course.

I'm sorry but this lady needs to meet her savior Jesus Christ.
I am so sick of pig-headed FReepers with these bogus "CALL TO ACTION! STOP THE LIBS! FREEPER ACTION NEEDED" over the top rants.

If you seek the truth and wish to spread the truth, as your home page says, you would conclude that laughter and happy response and eye contact and physical movement are not part of the "clinically dead" assessment ... I've never heard of anyone clinically dead being a candidate for rehabilitation ...

IN HIS HAND IS THE LIFE OF EVERY LIVING THING, AND THE BREATH OF ALL MANKIND ... Job 12:10
We are called to aid those in need, to pray and act ... just following orders.

>>The woman is clinically dead. Has been for years.
And you have been to visit her and have seen this for yourself?
>>Don't try to emotionalize it.
Yeah, I guess I should be as cold and heartless as you and Michael Schiavo.
>>It's time to let nature take its course.
Letting nature take its course would be to allow her to have food and water and then let God take her when He's ready. Circumventing the natural process is what is going on now.
To: AlaskaErik
You are ignorant.
To: deannadurbin
A feeding tube down your throat is hardly natural.
That said, I have no idea what Terri would want. But I know this, from what I have seen and heard of her I would not want her fate. I told my wife that if I'm in that condition give me a year to see if there's a chance of recovery, then let me go. I cant imagine being trapped in my own body like that for 13 years, unable to move or comunicate, sounds like another form of hell to me. But thats just me.

It's not down her throat, it was in her stomach and was there for years.
Michael took the money that was supposed to be used for her rehabilitation and spent it on legal fees to pro-death attorneys in an attempt to end her life instead. It is the injustices of this case, and the callousness of it, that has gotten so many people fired up.
