President Bush and First Lady, Laura left California yesterday, and arrived at Tokyos Haneda airport (at around 3:00 am, Pacific time), where they were greeted by U.S. Ambassador Howard Baker. The President met with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi for talks on subjects such as international trade and the reconstruction of Iraq. The President and First Lady were dinner guests at the Akasaka State Guest House, where they dined on Japanese steak and Yakatori chicken, sitting on the floor, but were allowed to dangle their legs through a hole in the floor!
Japan is only the first stop in a whirlwind 9 day tour of 6 Asian countries and Australia, and including the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday. There are LOTS of pictures, many of which could have been selected as the best, (and which I have tried to assemble in some sort of orderly fashion), so enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Absolutely ;-)

"Did you notice how close GWB is keeping Laura?
Hardly a picture he's not touching her and just
one or two where she's more than an arm's length away."
"I noticed that.........he needs her on this trip.....REALLY needs her!"
I think that he's worried about her safety, too.

Did you notice how close GWB is keeping Laura?I noticed that during his campaign. He's always dragged her along to wherever he's going. I think the only times he isn't touching her are the formal occasions when they have social roles.
They're a little more discreet than they used to be, but there's no question about which woman this President is lusting after. :-)

It's been a while since you came here to condescend upon us! How have you been? I have been well, thank you, I hope you have faired likewise.

Mr. Koizumi looks like he's glad to be on the right side of the Pres. :-) He's having a good time too.
Laura also looks extrodinarily happy and relaxed in these pictures too.
I once saw a picture of what I think is their "bedroom" on Air Force One. It looked like there was very little room and just a single bed. Has anyone else seen a picture of it? Looked kind of small to be 'residing' in for the next nine days.

I'm fine other than deeply missing my son, who is still in Baghdad.
Thanks for asking.

What a pathetic excuse for a man!Yes he is, and unfortunately both he and John Kerry are the Senators from MY state! There is not ONE Republican in our State delegation to Washington; liberal Democrats, ALL.

THANK YOU so much for raising your son to serve his country! How long has he been there and how long will he be there? From bits and pieces on this thread I've gathered that several people have loved ones serving far away, but could never quite fit it all together. GOD BLESS HIM for his service!
How can we write to him and the other service-men? I pray for our soldiers every day.

To tell the truth, sometimes I wonder if the enemies at home aren't almost as dangerous.....
It's a scary thing to lose your sense of values.

She does her share of 'lusting' too! And what a joy it is to see a man and woman honoring the vows they made to each other, obviously loving each other and ONLY each other in this way.

Still OH, so refreshing after 8 years of debauchery!
(And I'm kinda sorry that he has to be more discreet to be 'presidential.' I LIKED it when he gave her those love pats before, and then you could see that he'd pull his hand up a bit when the urge hit him in public.......)
Oh, well......they still get LOTS of 'quality time' alone. ;o)

Barbara Bush said there were two single beds with their heads together, so that they could hold hands, but not touch feet (that's in her Memoirs), but the debauched one said there was a queen sized bed in there.
Course he lied about everything, so who knows?

Thank you, eskimo. It is prayer that is sustaining us.
He's doing well.......we get a phone call once a week, and got our first e-mail last week, so we know that his morale is still high.

If they could hold hands but not touch feet, what did she (Barbara OR Laura) do when he (George HW or George W.) snored???? I have to kick my husband multiple times . . . till I can't take it and end up on the couch . . . but I suppose that's not an option in the WH or on Air Force One, huh?
And maybe the debauched one was refering to the Ice Queen he married, and the rest of the bed was for her broomstick.
