Hey Red Sox fans. Hold your head high. It was a great series, and you guys (here) displayed a lot of class. None of this is personal. I really feel for you this time. I guess its now Bucky, Buckner and Boone.

It's been fun, it'd been real, but it hasn't been real fun.

Nah, don't do that. I need someone around that I can take my wrath out on. ;-)

I know, I know.

Brutal?

Being in Cincy, I know there are a lot of folks here thrilled that Boone hit the game-winner, especially the way he has struggled at the plate since the Yanks got him. He was very popular here.

Mariano Rivera = MVP in any language. One of the gretest short men of all time, perhaps the best.

If the Cubs and Red Sox played a series right now for nothing more than to see whose curse is worse, it would draw more of an audience than the Yankees and Marlins.

Nah, don't lump Boone in there. Sox blew it on management's hands, if somebody is to be blamed. Now go on to beat the Marlins, or your team ain't shit.
