Just to give you some idea of what is going on Primary wide, the FEC's Third Quarter filings have been released. And the President has easily outpaced the entire Democrat field.
Candidate - 3Q Funds Raised - Cash on Hand
Bush - $50.0M - $70.4M
Dean - $14.8M - $12.4M
Kerry - $4.0M - $7.8M
Gephardt - $3.8M - $5.9M
Lieberman - $3.6M - $4.1M
Clark - $3.5M - $3.4M
Edwards - $2.6M - $4.8M
Kucinich $1.7M - $800K
Graham - $1.4M - $800K
LaRouche $864K - $39K
Braun - $125K - $30K
Sharpton - $121K - $24K
This is sure to be rough and tumble in the upcoming weeks, with the major ad buys in both Iowa and New Hampshire about to take place, depleting campaigns funds on the Democratic side.
The eventual nominee, around March, is set to receive the Bush/Cheney buzz saw, with no primary opponent in site, the campaign, from the looks of it, will wait out as the Democrats beat up each other, then go on the campaign blitz.

I'm thankful for the (terrible) Rich Republicans. They are going to ensure Bush's re-election....
Cheers, CC :)

just think what clinton did to dole.
Dole spent all of his money in the primaries and after april he had no money. Clinton spent tons on "dole is against medicare, etc"
The same thing is going to happen with dean. In april he will have no money, and we are going to make them look foolish. Oh, they already are.

I'm thankful for the (terrible) Rich Republicans. They are going to ensure Bush's re-election.... Actually, it was rich Democrats (Hollywood-types and other guilty bleeding hearts) that supported the Democrats for years. Then, in a fit of utter stupidity, the 'Rats decided to force thru Campaign Finance Reform, which eliminates huge individual donations to a candidate. Now it emerges that Republicans have always had a much better grass-roots fundraising capability, as shown in the numbers above.

You know all the talk about the Democrats being the party of the inclusion and the two African American candidates in the race raised less than 1/3 of what Lyndon Larouche did combined. Just pitiful.
