We come here not to praise Bill Clinton, But to bury him.
His 1992 campaign was the last real victory of the Democrat Party. Despite rampant evidence of being a B.S. artist and the first rumbles of bimbo eruptions the majority of voting Americans reelected him in '96 (women reelected him, actually). By then the machine was in place that enabled thousands of aliens instant citizenship and a nice old lady to lead them where to vote Democrat.
Now the Chinese celebrate getting a man in space at least four years before they would have had that opportunity. Bill Clinton, president-for-Hire with no scruples, made that happen.

If the Republicans were smart, they would hire Clinton to campaign full-time for the Democrats next year.

Excellent article. I totally agree that only Clinton can do his kind of politics, otherwise, it is a case of 'the emperor has no clothes.'

I have to believe that our former President pulled out all of his old slings and arrows during the campaign. Governor-elect Schwarzenegger was painted as an abuser of women, a manipulator, a druggy, and who knows what else.
Well when it comes to abusing women, manipulating people, abusing drugs, and who knows what else. No one I submit is better at it than willard.

YOU SAID: "If Democratic leaders wish to again take on the mantle of leadership, I believe that they must first throw off the legacy of the Clinton Presidency, and depose all of his former servants, starting with DNC Chairman Terry McAullife"
I agree .. this point is crucial.
YOU SAID: "Before things have any hope of getting better for them, the angry left is going to have to get some counseling"
Maybe 40-50 years out of power would do the trick!
I keep wondering if the rank and file democrats are about to take down the hard left. The takedown will be so hard and so decisive, it will take years and years to regroup and find a real vision.
I remember the democrats I met during impeachment .. the ones who emailed me to apologize for Barbara Boxer. They told me CA deserved better. We might not agree on some policy issues, but we agreed on truth, integrity, honesty .. the most important things.
While I still don't believe the democrats truly understand what the security of America is all about .. or that it doesn't depend on the outmoded opinions of other nations .. it depends on OUR ABILITY TO PROTECT OURSELVES.
Loved your article .. it hits the nail right on the head!
