>>>He has strictly ordered that no one may attempt to feed her.

Those are his personal feelings; but has this been tried? Look how many times the priest got in before he had a court order implemented. Rotating people (strangers even) would be a surprise.

With three police officers in her room, I do not hold much hope that anyone will be able to put a spoon to her mouth.

I'm told starvation is very painful and agnoizing. My mother was in advanced stages of Alzheimers and we family members faced having to decide when to let her go.

I studied some information and decided they'd have to pull her tube over MY dead body. Fortunately, she died of pneumonia and we didn't have to come to that crossroad...

"I have not read all the information on this case, but the judges have."

I wouldn't be too sure of that. Given the current climate and the momentum of the downward spiral of America at the hands of liberal judges, I think your faith is naively misplaced. Not only do I believe that they do not read and study all the information (they have lawyers to inform them of the specifics of the case), but are themselves, more often than not, serving some hidden agenda.

Well, many Republican voters believe that "We the People" are in control if we can only elect more people with the "R" label, everything will be all right.

Does anybody still really believe that "we the people" have any control over much of anything any more?

I ask my question again: Has anyone been arrested trying to save this woman?

I thought there were people standing vigil, awaiting the 2:00pm decision. What happened when the decision came and the starvation execution began?

Were this happening in my town, either Terri would have been rescued or I would be in jail.

Where are the balls of Florida pro-lifers?

America = a nation of good Germans.

Pardon me while I puke.

I read Bishop Lynch's statement a month or so ago, when I first learned about Terri. I will bold the words that I think bear some thought:

In so doing, we ask our judges to make decisions that they might not make for themselves or their loved ones, but ones that clear and convincing evidence shows the individual would make for herself or himself.

To me, clear and convincing evidence means not basing it on a casual conversation when there is plenty of evidence provided by her parents as well that contradicts Michael's statement. Michael didn't and couldn't give clear and convincing evidence since there was plenty to refute it. I'm not sure if what Michael gave was even a preponderance of evidence, and that's part of the reason so many of us are outraged by this whole thing. Terri's been had by Michael Schiavo and the judicial system in Florida.

That's what Hannity said today on his radio show but I'm sure Michael the almighty doesn't have the guts. He also said he was trying to get the new video. If he does he will be showing it tonight. How can they get away with this? Someone please explain this to me?

I agree. It is highly unlikely for instance that either George W. Greer or the federal judge Lazarra read Jeb's "amicus curiae" brief. They had no intention of pondering that brief to begin with. Somehow, it's all about the money, as with Nixon's silly Watergate caper. Terri's case is far worse than Watergate in my book. Not a single loss of life occurred in Watergate.

Well, at least Terri's condition is improving on Fox. Just heard her described as "severely brain-damaged." This morning she was "comatose."

"I have not read all the information on this case, but the judges have."

I just read a comment on one of the threads about this (don't ask me where now), that the judge in this case did not even read the opinions of 6 of the 7 doctors who wrote evaluations about this.

So how can that man make an informed judgment?

This is frightening.

The answer to that is to boycott Chris Matthews and hope his ratings take a nosedive. He has John McCain on nearly every other episode anyway. Who wants to hear John McCain?

I also heard a quote from a brilliant jurist about 200 yrs ago... Paraphrased he said,

"The person who will benefit financially from a person's death should have no voice in that person's outcome."

Given the current climate and the momentum of the downward spiral of America at the hands of liberal judges

Not to mention the folks in Florida, who need to get up and save that woman.

Did I hear that there are three deputies guarding the room? Here is someting to pray for - that one of them might have his soul tortured enough yo do the right thing.

Maybe the right thing is to resign his job of being a death camp guard.

Maybe he could reach out to folks who could snatch her out of the death camp.

Friends, this is not the first time that judical murder has happened. But, it is hot in the headlines. If Jeb is so pro-life on this, why has he not mobilized a small platoon of the National Guard, drove up to the hospital, and taken custody?

Radical? You bet.

Some day, when we are in the same place, we will remember these days.

is there brain activity and if her parents were willing to care for her why weren't they allowed to take her home (and set up hospital equipment in the house).

Hi Countess! Well, you see it goes like this. Her husband is the benificary of any monies involved AFTER HER DEATH and because Dr's said she could expect a normal life span (with good care). He has contrived a way to have her life expectancy cut short.

Hitler won the war. Obviously.

And now we have this WWII monument in Washington about to open, or maybe it has already opened. Hitler must be laughing upward from the gates of hell.

Just about every city, including St. Petersburg and Clearwater, has a cabal of corrupt judges and local officials that voters routinely reelect at the mention of their hallowed names.

"So how can that man make an informed judgment?"

The formation of an informed opinion presupposes an objective relationship with the truth. I do not believe that any such relationship exists for many of these judges.

No, these evil men are not cowards, are they? They are following what George J. Felos calls "the mandate," "the mandate"! These corrupt men have the law do their heinous crimes for them. Even the Mafia have to do their own dirty work.
