There's lots of fairly large southern cities, and I'd be surprised to hear that they are liberal. Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix... liberal?

Granted, yes, even the biggest of these (Dallas) only ranks as #8 in population in the U.S...

http://www.demographia.com/db-99metm-r.htm

But I dunno if I'd go so far as to say "city" = "liberal". I mean, 4 of the cities I just listed are all bigger than Seattle... liberal Mecca... heheh :)

I do have to admit though... for the top ones, it -is- pretty consistent. NY, LA, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston... the really bad eggs are the really big cities. Philly and Baltimore aren't quite so disgustingly liberal... but yeah, even they're pretty bad.

And here I am stuck smack dab between NYC and Philly. Before it all starts, give me a chance to move first, will ya? :)

There has never been an American civil war. The author needs some remedial classes.

This is basicly a good article, along the lines of a statement that I have been making regularly, that the left is attempting to subvert our democratic capitalist system by degrading our moral underpinnings and demeaning our Judeo-Christian roots. The Judeo-Christian religion is anathema to the left because it is difficult to control a people who answer to a higher power than the state. The left hopes to replace the Judeo-Christian religion with the humanistic cult of the environment.

The one error that I note in the article is that the author claims that the left is opposed to multi-national, unfeeling companies. This is not true at all, the left is only opposed to multi-national companies which do not play by the left's rules, in a kind of symbiotic relationship with gov't, known as fascism.

They would need to create new all volunteer "special anti-terrorist units" consisting of morons and lunatics who don't give a rats about the Constitution or BOR.

Hmmmm, and hmmmm. Need to roll that around for a while. Like room temp IQ's for starters? Few if any moral anchors? Possibly wards of the state, etc? Do you think this could be pulled off without someone.......never mind; rhetorical. It would require implementation by some serious dirtbags at/near the top would it not? The 3 and 4 star(?) self purges(hearsay) under bent willie are looking more worrisome. BTW, do you have any handy info on the subject?

Fascism? You've heard of Corporatism? Some fodder:

The Left-Wing Billionaire Collectivist Pigs
Diane Alden

Corporatism Weds Transnational Progressivism

Do you stay up nights trying to figure out why so-called capitalists fund leftist causes or promote a collectivist agenda? Think of Stephen Rockefeller or the entire Rockefeller family, Ted Turner, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, George Soros, Maurice Strong, Enron, Ford Foundation, Pew Charitable Trust, the Nature Conservancy, the American Bar Association and the AMA.

Why did billionaires Bill Gates and Warren Buffett come out against ending or reducing the death tax? Why do multimillionaire Stephen Rockefeller and the entire clan promote the most outrageous leftist globalist causes and malicious and inhumane programs in history? Why does the Rockefeller family actively promote a collectivist nightmare like the Earth Charter? Why did they fund the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute in pre-war Nazi Germany?

Why are successful entrepreneurs such as Martha Stewart or Michael Bloomberg supporters of every leftist cause? Why do the trial lawyers of America or a financial guru such as Robert Rubin typically promote Democrats?

Do all these left-wing capitalists consider leftist/"progressive" ideas regarding life, death and taxes as being more meritorious for people and society and the world?

Or is there actually something else going on here?

There are two outstanding articles which may help you understand those questions. Additionally, they will shed light on the fact that we are in a "post-Constitution" and "post-American" world. The essays deal with the economic and political state of modern national and international geopolitics and society. They point to some of the factors that make so many capitalists favorable to collectivism and Marxism lite.

In that regard, Robert Locke's essay on "Corporatism" explains what has taken place economically and politically in the U.S. On the political and philosophical side, the Hudson Institute's John Fonte wrote a brilliant piece titled "The New Ideological War Within the West: Transnational Progressivism." (Both may be found at www.frontpagemag.com)

Ross does describe something similat in his book. At one point, his fall guy for the Revolution "sends" a message describing some freelancing that has been going on.

"Doing this (sneaky stuff with a high probability of success and escape) is smart. Doing that (violent stuff leading to de facto martyrdom) is not smart." But he isn't really leading the revolutionaries, which the authorities find extremely frustrating.

As a historian, I consider revolution not only bloody, but also the least effective way to preserve liberty. I can't think of another in history than ours, that left people better off.

Corporatism was developed by the fascists. The only difference between the new third way and the Mussolini third way is the use of the cult of the environment in place of nationalism.

In my next book, these special units will be drawn also from military troops who were sent to the Army by the courts, (gang bangers etc), and "immigrants" on a special fast track to citizenship.

So, one third regular soldiers at the moron end who want that flashy new uniform with the "Counter-Terrorist Strike Force insignia, one third gang bangers in uniform, and one third "immigrants" eager to get amnesty.

Sound charming, don't they?

There is no "revolution" in my book, only a deliberately provoked reaction by a pair of truly evil actors.

They shoot up a stadium and blame it on "white racist militias," and that's only page one.
