WRONG. Terri has never been represented by counsel. For a brief time she had a Guardian Ad Litem, but when he said he thought that Terri's tube should not be removed, hubby asked him to be removed. Greer obliged. And he was never replaced.

I can show where Greer has fallen down on the job on at least half of these rights, but this one jumped out at me.

If you had been following this for even a couple of months you would see what a travesty of justice this is. This is positively frightening, and I guarantee you I will NEVER step foot in Florida because of it. Unfortunately, this will eventually reach all of us.

I have a problem with my PC that will not let me send mail to the Yahoo help group so I am asking that this be forwarded on through Terris Hope. We here in the UK want you to know that we have sent out e-mails for most of the day .... automated response was what we got back .... so this afternoon several of us tried to ring Gov Bush and the President .

Only 4 managed to get through to Gov. Bush and the line to President Bush was on a continual "leave a message mode" then finally when it did ring there was no reply ! We are praying, doing what we can to do group prayers where 15 of us at any one time are continuously in prayer. We are with you all the way ... this dear girl must NOT have her life taken in this barbaric manner by those who have a vested interest in her death. Why is this Judge not thrown out of this case like yesterday !!!

There must be sinister agenda's going on that will leave an unfeeling and callous man in charge of the verdict to kill this dear girl ... because kill her is what it would be called in my eyes. We feel so sad .. and helpless to but please lets keep the faith going ... The Father may yet slap them down with a hand so firm they will never ever be the same again ... I am not a vengeful person but I WANT vengence for Terri and an eye for an eye springs to my mind as time moves on. Oh, and your "that's why we have the courts" response IS the problem. Greer is corrupt, or being blackmailed, or is tied in with the "death with dignity" crowd. There is no other explanation. And Terri's attorneys have tried to get Greer off the case. They filed a petition for him to recuse himself. He denied the motion. What kind of court system is that? This would be funny if an innocent woman wasn't about to be legally murdered by the state of Florida.

I am writing to you in response to your article on Terri Schindler-Schiavo. "Which Love Is Greater." I'd like to share my feelings with you, because I believe that of the hundereds of News articals and Media coverage or lack of, your's was as honest and heartfelt as anyone's could be. Maybe you can somehow find a way to search deeper, find it in your heart to help Terri. I am coming to you as a Concerned Florida Citizen. I am not with any group, be it anti this or pro that. And while I do believe in God, with all my heart, I can honestly tell you I haven't been to church in a few years. I couldn't sleep tonight, because my thoughts of Terri and her family, especially her Mother are weighing heavy in my heart and mind. I'm literally sick to my stomach with the very thought that our State is allowing Judge George Greer to "Murder Terri." Yes, to me this is a criminal act, in my humble opinion, called Murder and should be treated as such. M-U-R-D-E-R!!

"Not to mention a Severe Violation of Terri's Rights!" To say that I am upset is putting it mildly, I am horrified with each and every hour and minute that passes! No, I do not know Terri personally. I just recently met her father and sister, when I went 60 some miles to stand up for "her rights" in a peaceful demonstration. So here I am, responding to you in what was the middle of the night, now being 6 AM because I am that bothered over all of this. To me, Terri's life is worth my time and my efforts and so much more then what she has been given, by everyone including the 95% media, with the exception of her family. Especially by our "Elected Officials" sworn into office, to Protect and to Serve Us and Uphold Our Rights! Elected by, We The People who put our trust and faith in them. BIG MISTAKE? If Judge Lazzara could not intervene in Terri's case because it is not in his jurisdiction, then I ask you this ... why did this case go before him? Is that the truth, is Terri's case out of his jurisdiction? Don't you think Gov. Bush would have known that, if it were so? So is Judge Lazzara lying and if so, why? What's wrong with this WHOLE picture?? Now, why is it taking tens of thousands of emails (which I believe he has already received far over what we have heard about, exceeding 50 thousand or better to date) for Gov. Bush to put a Stop this madness and NOW? As "he does have he power to do so" and clearly he has implied, at least in the public eye, that this is "His Wishes" so why does he not just STOP Terri's death sentence now? Can you or anyone answer this for me? Why play with the very being of anyone's soul and mind in this manner? And in this case, not only Terri and her family, but thousands of others, whom are feeling the pain of all of this.

And while our Governor, Jeb Bush has stepped in twice, this clearly isn't enough for Judge Greer or any other Judge at this point and time. I commend Governor Bush's actions and I respect him tremendously for taking this difficult stand! But, at this time, they are not NOT ENOUGH!

Not only does Terri's husband have a girlfriend of almost 8 years and a "great deal to gain money wise," but he has a child with his "live in Girlfriend Jodi Centonzi and another on the way." Not to mention the large royalties that await him from the sale of the book HIS "Attorney George Felo's has written" about Terri's so called peaceful departure ... "Death By Starvation and Dehydration" and will publish when she dies.

And since Mr. Felo's cannot finish it until Terri dies, Michael is in that "hurry up and wait mode" I am sure. But he doesn't seem to mind waiting for the money, ($750,000) because he is already using her Medical Trust Fund (along with the monies he was also awarded for "his" losses) that was awarded to her for the things that he swore and promised under oath that he would provide for her. Such as personally taking care of all of her Medical needs, Physical therapy, Speech therapy and just basic medical care, that some take for granted daily. Instead Michael Schiavo paid his Attorney George Felos $550,000 to date according to the court records.

And far as Terri responding to visitors, this is true, or was for a very brief time, as he has not allowed her visitors, not even her priest has been allowed in, because her loving husband wanted her to serve out the remainder of her sentence, in solitary confinement in a small furnished hospice cell, you could say. Not even your basic dental care is she been afforded. Nor does her loving husband allowed her to receive cards or flowers to brighten her endless days, in a home for the terminally ill. A Hospice Home.

Michael denies and has denied her range of motion, necessary for her limbs to remain flexible and limber, without atrophy. And the littlest of things, like just being sat up and simple basic dental care. Does anyone wonder why Terri has survived all of this for over a decade? Could it be "her will to live?" She is not in a coma, and she does feel and is responsive. Visit this web site and look at the Video of the Swab test. Is that a person without feeling? And all of this comes after his sworn promise to the courts before he won and received the sum of money he so graciously accepted on Terri's behalf to provide all the care in the world to her. Poor Terri, never had a chance with that animal for a husband, not ever. "Which Love Is Greater?" Once the money was safely put into the bank, he petitioned the court to stop feeding her, but not a minute before. "He says, she said" ... in passing, that if she was ever to be connected to machines, she would not want to live that way. So being the dutiful husband as he is, he claims he will do whatever it takes to make her wish come true. You know the type, love and cherish, until death do us part, even though he is waiting for his second child with the woman he wants to marry. "Which Love Is Greater?"

Mean while her Mother, the woman who loves Terri with every cell in her being, the one that carried her for 9 months and gave her life and would never bring any harm to her daughter or in my opinion go against Terri's wishes in anyway to cause her undo harm, pain or suffering, is willing to love, really love her unconditionally and care for her daughter for as long as she may live. Terri's father, brother and sister all feel the exact same way. "Which Love Is Greater?"

To this day, they have given everything, to see that Terri receives the proper medical care, that she should have had since the beginning of this, their worst nightmare. While Terri's husband has taken everything from her, including her very life. The only thing he hasn't taken yet, is Terri's ongoing will to live. And the love and support of her family and us, those who are struggling and begging to save her life.

I believe Michael was married to Terri all of 3 years, before that horrible night in question, the one that doesn't add up to all of her injuries and had she of had the promised speech therapy, maybe today you'd have the answers to your question. "Which Love Is Greater?" I, already have mine. And had she have received speech therapy a decade ago, she might have been able to tell us what really transpired in the wee hours of that night. I can only hope that someone will see the horrifying injustice that is taking place right here in our own back yard. I think it is far past time that "We The People" start standing up for what is good and just and right in this world today, before there is nothing good left in it.

I also would like to see the REAL FACTS printed in the National and Local news and if it means taking the time to DIG a little deeper, go a little further to do that, then so be it, at least then the writer of this very tragic story will have printed the truth and facts with Honor. As long as Terri is alive there is HOPE!

It is your responsibility when all justice has failed to step up to the plate. I will thank you for everything you have done if and only if you save Terri's life otherwise what is there to give thanks for? See below for statement from Terri's parents. Michael can have all the money he illegally procured stipulating Terri's rehabilitation. Other caring people will see to it that she does get rehabilitation without his dirty money. I would submit that if you don't want your hands bloodied you should do what is right and under your power as Governor to stop Terri's murder by the State (need I tell you that you represent the State?) and this because of the chicanery of Michael Schiavo/George Felos/Judge Greer and a complicit 2nd District Court of Appeals, etc. Terri does not deserve to come home in a body bag or an urn. She deserves rehabilitation and a chance to live after 13 years of being sequestered away, tortured (both physically and mentally), etc. by Michael Schiavo. This is nothing more than terrorism. Please do what is right. You have the right, the responsibility and the power to stop an innocent disabled person from being murdered in this our State of Florida. Please do not wait for tube removal because Terri will have been irreparably harmed. This would not allow for Terri to get the rehabilitation she was promised. Terri never said, and again I quote Felos, “No tubes for me!”. See the Federal court records of Oct. 10th. You are the Governor, you have the power, and I am begging of you to do that which is necessary to stop any harm that would come to Terri. As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of Florida again I beseech you to intervene.

Where are those Protective Services? The ones that act on all reports of abuse, unfettered by the usual presumption of innocence? Why can't the governor---or anyone at all---start that process that removes a possible victim from a situation of possible abuse?

Good question. I know a complaint was filed with them (quite a lengthy one, I've heard), and yet no action was taken - it was deemed "unfounded". The poor woman couldn't even get her teeth brushed (Michael said, "what for, she doesn't use them to eat"), hasn't had a gynacological exam in 4 years, can't have any therapy to keep her muscles from atrophying, can't have flowers or cards, he won't get her wheelchair fixed so she can go outside, etc., etc., etc. But the report was "unfounded".

What would you suggest they do?

Would there be any purpose for which a judge somewhere could subpoena Terri? I would think Judge Greer's declarations would have no effect upon another judge's subpoena. If Terri does anything which can be described on record as responsive, that would unambiguously contradict the allegations of her being in a terminal vegitative state.

Instead of drugging her with Morphine to make it look humane as she suffers, let Terri be exposed to the world she was denied for over 10 long years, let her listen to the voice of the world that she has been denied, let her take your prayers to heaven and lay them at the feet of God, for the whole world today is in dire need of God's intervention. Someone above posted that they did not believe Terri's parents were fighting as hard as they could; this is totally untrue, they have tried every legal means to stop this and get help for their daughter to rehabilitate. They have been blocked at almost every turn; yet they have fought until they have lost their home, and every thing they own. They are still fighting with every means. To say they are not fighting as hard as they can is simply cruel and untrue. I don't know if you have ever been through our nation's legal system- but it is a mine field. There is no guarantee of "justice" ask any attorney or judge. Their is no guarantee of fairness either. As time passes it seems the way to prevail in court is to have $$$$ or power, or fame. The Schindler's don't have any of those things. However, Terri's husband, Michael Schiavo has had access to a LOT of $$$$ The source of which was a lawsuit and he said he needed the $$$ to care for Terri over her expected long life span. After he received the check he began looking for and finding legal ways to end her life. He has been allowed to use her rehabilition $$$ to pay his attorney to fight for her death. Judge Greer is the one who allowed him to do this.
Some of you who are new to this story, please all we who support Terri ask is that you spend some time getting familiar with the facts of the case. I know it is hard to believe what you are finally hearing could be true- yet everyone I have asked to really check into this case has became a supporter of Terri's fight- her parent's fight- her fight to live and get the medical treatment she has been denied. I know all this is unbelievable- so don't take my word for it- just do a little research and see what you think AFTER you spend some time at www.terrisfight.org and do some searches on Terri Schindler-Schiavo for various news articles and many things that have been posted about this fight.

I gather that the fix is in, and Michael Schiavo will receive his long-time request: that Terri be dehydrated and starved. What we see as man's inhumanity to man, he sees as fulfilling "Terri's wishes." How could anyone buy that line?

Alan Colmes was of course defending Schiavo's position. One would think that sometimes, the liberal would have to agree with the conservative and say, "This is horrible, I can't defend Michael Schiavo's position." But no, the grinning Colmes maintains the left's stance: that Terri must die. He could hardly conceal his glee at her fate.

Hannity and Colmes would hardly let Randall Terry explain the case. Randall Terry did not get around to mentioning monies that Schiavo will receive on her death. He didn't get to explain fully how Schiavo had denied the rehabilitation though he tried to do so. They limited the segment to about six minutes. Mr. Schindler will be on Tuesday night in a final plea.

Terri looked like she could progress with therapy. The State of FL has let down one of its most vulnerable citizens. I felt so sorry for Mrs. Schindler and indeed the whole family. The late Hubert Humphrey once said that he believed God judged a country based on the way it treats its most vulnerable people. If so, the USA is flunking the "compassion" test that Colmes claims to uphold.

Randall Terry asked Bush to intervene, but he was unable to explain just what Bush can legally do if anything.

I gather from the few posts that I have read tonight that everyone has given up all hope at this late hour.

I did not know that the Schindlers had lost their home, but I am unsurprised. They deserve the JFK Courage Award far more than the cheap politicians who have coveted it.

I hope that the Schindlers can move from FL, a state unkind to the disabled, and resume what possibly little time they have left on this earth.
