Zogby was giving his thoughts this week as a DemocRAT so you can probably take his poll with a grain of salt!

Well, I doubt Thune is ahead, but he probably isn't dropping anymore. Bush came through with some draught pork. I hope Thune does better in the remaining debates than the one I saw. I still think it is only the GOP's 4th best change of a pickup.

Somewhere I read that Thune is running ads attacking Tim Johnson's vote against the original Gulf War Resolution. I don't know any details, but hopefully that, combined with the drought aid will get Thune some traction. I'm generally on the same page with you, though... I never thought SD was the slam dunk a lot of people believed it to be.

I sent an online donation to Thune a short time ago. All freepers might think about doing the same. Today has been an outrage and we can send a real message to daschle by defeating his little buddy, Johnson.

I always like the GOP chances there. That is their second most likely pickup IMO, and I think Coleman is a slight favorite. Coleman is a credible moderate, Wellstone is an incredible liberal, and Minnesota is trending towards the GOP in general.

Daschle Dem Watch Ping List. Please support JOHN THUNE'S CAMPAIGN. It's time for Tim and Tom to go. What was that today? Who's going to do an impersonation of Linda Blair tomorrow? Dick Gephardt? The DNC has a next at bat list to try to get President Bush's popularity to wane.
First, it was Clinton, then at bat was Algor, next up - Daschle. Then Senator Byrd. (all based on a hypothetical from the Washington Post) I guess it depends on the meaning of the word "if".
If Gephardt or Lieberman is next at bat, give FV a thumbs up. THEY ARE PLAYING GAMES WITH OUR HOMELAND SECURITY - they sure proved it this past month!
