"I will praise Nancy Pelosi. She had an incredible career for her party," Rep. Greene, 51, said of the 85-year-old, who served as Speaker of the House from 2019-2023, during a Thursday interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN.
"I wish we could get things done for our party like Nancy Pelosi was able to deliver for her party," Rep. Greene continued.
"So, I wish her well in her retirement, but I would like to see people exit Washington a lot sooner rather than wait until their eighties."

he did accomplish more of what her party wanted than any Republican speaker did.
‘POWER’ is the most addictive substance know to man....................
I guess MTG wants to get rich like Nancy did with insider trading.
I’m thinking that the cheese has fallen off of MTG’s cracker.
She’s right about this.
Accolades for evil accomplishments?
Why? It is a very polite reply.
Being a pet/former Republican can be lucrative gig on the talk show circuit. This is her audition.
Several weeks ago, I heard other comments that she passed. I thought to myself, “She is angry at someone in the party and seeking revenge.” I think several people in the party told her to dial in back, in particular, I think one was speaker Mike Johnson. She’s on a revenge tour. Now I have no doubt about it.
MTG is an idiot. In saying that, she is making a reprehensible moral equivalency.
Dump her.
What was stunning about her comments? Pretty vapid platitudes. Politicians can attack each other when they are working but when they die or retire you usually don’t get anything nasty (even if they deserve it)
In essence, what MTG is saying is true and legitimate
But in total context. it sounds like she’s supporting what Pelosi has managed to do. Marjorie is an experienced public speaker. She has chosen to be ambiguous for now, just enough to make MAGA world worry about her next move.
It was. I guess the mainstream media is stunned by her politeness. She used to make me cringe too, but I appreciate some of what she's saying. There are too many "yes-men" surrounding Trump otherwise.
President Trump’s remarks about Pelosi were much more apropos.
I clicked on the post expecting to post derogatory comments about MTG.
But, her comments are pretty rational and correct.
As I’ve often observed.
Democrats embrace and use power ruthlessly to their benefit.
Republicans act as if handed a poisonous snake and divest themselves from it a quickly as possible.
And Trump in his first term, to his credit was very polite after the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg...There actually more tension surrounding the McCain funeral if anything.
When MTG got fawning praise from Joy Behar, there is no doubt left, she is looking out for herself and not her constituents.
