The Real Reason Republicans Always Seem to Lose the Close Ones
PJ Media ^ | 06/02/2023 | Rick Moran

Over the last decade, the Republican Party has spent tens of millions of dollars on its voter contact efforts to help identify who their voters are and where they live. The action was critical to the party’s get-out-the-vote efforts over the last several election cycles.

On paper, the voter canvassing efforts were an enormous success. But the reality is, the entire operation was a mirage. And the party leadership knows it.

The voter contact effort depended on paid vendors instead of volunteers as the get-out-the-vote effort used to. Canvassers were usually paid by the number of potential voters they contacted. But the system was rife with fraud, and several GOP field operators claim that the scam occurred in Nevada, Georgia, and Oregon.

That’s the least of the party’s problems.

NBC News:

That’s just three states. But these individuals say those problems, as well as allegations raised in a recent lawsuit against one of the largest vendors in the conservative canvassing business, should raise internal alarms. These field operators said they’ve harbored similar concerns for multiple cycles but only provided documentation for the most recent midterms.

The problems, six people said, are pitfalls of the right’s increased reliance on paid canvassers rather than volunteers, and on a sprawling web of vendors and consultants tasked with what can be a thankless, though critical, job. Seven people said that cheating is on the rise amid pressure to quickly meet steep outreach goals.

“That’s why we’re losing elections,” one Republican field veteran said of the conservative canvassing apparatus. “Nobody wants to admit it.”

The problem isn’t for-profit vendors. The problem is oversight of the vendors and the entire canvassing operation. If the party wants accurate data, they’re going to have to work for it.

That means setting up the means and methods to observe the entire operation and make sure as much of the information that is passed on to the data crunchers is accurate and reliable as possible.

Republican lose elections because there is so much fraud in the system. And the Republicans are the ones committing the fraud. That’s why they lose. Or something like that.

And I suppose the corollary is that Democrats win, because they have less fraud on their side. Or something like that.

No one will vote for the GOP again, and they
will lose from that alone.

the GOP was trusted and kept ObamaCARE (romneycare).

this week, the GOP was trusted and kept
their$ trillion increase for Ukraine and Biden.

the GOP will NEVER be Trusted again,
will NEVER get our votes again,
and will choose their treason and Romney again and again.

The GOP loses the close ones because they want to play hard-to-get and seem to be on the side of We the People, but ultimately the GOP just wants to get their cut at the trough while acting like they hate the fact the Democrats screw all of us (when in secret, they also like the fudge packing side of things too)!!

The Republican frat boys and Country Clubbers were never a threat to the bolsheviks once they revved up their engines.

I recently completed a Doctoral program and earned my degree. The legwork of collecting data, interpreting it, Packaging and presenting it in a thesis defense just about killed me. I am older and always worked full time while in school. Then I heard of a co-worker of some means who achieved a like degree by paying people to collect the data, interpret, and package it for them. I realize I have the knowledge form having done the leg work but something about it bothers me still. Is fraud ingrained and socially acceptable here now? Like you hear of people always padding their insurance claims to “beat the system”? Thoughts?

Republicans lose because it’s in the script.

It’s no more than TV wrestling - aimed at dividing US (choose YOUR team and hate the ‘enemy’ team..) -Which, being divided, makes us easy to conquer.

Look, members of BOTH parties get rich beyond their wildest dreams while ‘serving’. And just like TV wrestlers, they are commissioned by their bosses to make it look like a good fight - on camera and in the media. But behind the scenes, they BOTH get paid and both are pretty much in agreement regarding things: More money and power - AWAY from us and handed over to them.

THIS is what these vermin have made of our government.

Just like the Washington Generals lose to the Harlem Globetrotters...

One difference is that the Democrat “volunteers” are public union employees who work for the Dem party while on the public payroll.

We won some close ones in California last time. I think we won one seat by like 300 votes.

It can be done.

I am a proponent of a strong ground game. The goal: an active precinct captain for every precinct, delivering an informed Republican vote. That is the bulk of my work.

The committed volunteers aren’t fudging.

This is an oversimplification of why Republicans lose. The real problem is that voters are unbelievably ignorant of what the Democrats stand for. What do they stand for? Abortion, transgenderism, socialism, communism, subtle racism, and every form of perverseness known to man. It is the voters that are the problem. Anyone who votes Demonrat is devoid of critical thinking.

The primary reason is because so many of our candidates are professional politicians too. After multiple reelections and maybe 10 years in office they become almost indistinguishable from Rats in their performance. This is because they have the same goals - continuing in office!

We can’t let the public off the hook! An electoral majority of us want a Santa Claus in office! The public wants its snout in the trough. It matters little who provides - Rat or GOP as long as they get their fair chance to slurp. The mistakes the Rats make is they bias the slurping toward favored groups and insult the taxpayer providing it.

Try telling people that all this socialism is bad and damaging to the country even when they get their turn at the trough. Do that and you get to watch their eyes glaze over and you know they’re mentally saying - “There he goes again!”. You see it here on FR!

RE: The real problem is that voters are unbelievably ignorant of what the Democrats stand for.

Then this country deserves what it gets for its government if voters are as lazy as you say.

No sentient human should ever vote for the GOP again.

MS-13 and FIB are ahead of the GOP in trust.

Paid consultants don’t come to your house and pick up your ballot. If their job depends on how many people they contact, rather than how many ballots they turn in they will always perform worse than Democrat “volunteers” whose jobs depend on how many ballots they bring in.
