CHUCK TODD: Well, Governor, Why are you supporting an election denialist?
GOV. CHRIS SUNUNU: Yeah, let me tell you, you're in a bubble, man. I love you, Chuck, but you are in a bubble if you think anybody's talking about what happened in 2020, or talking about Mar-a-Lago and all that. I know the press loves to talk about it. People are talking about what is happening in their pocketbooks every single day when they have to buy groceries or fill up gas or right now -- Well, that's --
CHUCK TODD: You think this should be prioritized over election denialism?
GOV. CHRIS SUNUNU: Of course. Oh, my gosh, Chuck, this is hitting people. They're having trouble paying their mortgage. They're having trouble making car payments because of bad policies out of Washington. Should they be? That is, look, the beauty of the American system is every voter has the right and almost the responsibility to be selfish with their vote, to vote in terms of what is best for their --
CHUCK TODD: Totally agree --

Oh but many here will INSIST that 2020 is a driving force behind how people will vote. Even that its not. Except for a few die hards here who can’t let the 2020 election go, and the Dems in congress who can’t let Jan 6 go, everyone else has forgotten about it.
Talk about a one track mind.
The reason the democrats don’t want to let it go...They want to see people hang hang for J6. Or, more specifically, they want to see one man hang. And after they get him, they’ll come after the rest of us.
You’re very ignorant if you think people can and should ignore the biggest election fraud in history.
If you don’t believe there was election fraud you are delusions.
Watch ‘2000 mules’ and then get back to us.
If you don’t believe you need to watch it for yourself then you just be happy letting other people do your thinking for you, and leave the rest of us to seek justice.
Coming from a fraud denialist.
I’ve also seen this sentiment described regarding abortion and the Roe v. Wade overturn...Democrats screaming “Republicans want to turn you into handmaids!” and being answered with “Handmaids don’t have to pay bills.”
You entirely missed the point of what I was saying. The point is, a very small percentage of the population is letting what happened in the 2020 election impact their vote. And they are die hard who would vote for Republicans anyway.
Todd’s quoted question is such a succinct distillation of his own particular brand of idiocy
Todd is just a STUPID LIBERAL.
The media is a left wing arm of the keft wing democrat party.
VOTE DEMOCRATS OUT.
Snake Head said it best
“its the economy stupid”
People care about the fact that a trip to the grocery store can easily be $250-$300. That their electric bill is $400-600 or more. That their Natural Gas or heating oil or Propane bill is double. That is cost $60-$100 to fill up their car.
That their 401K went down by 1/3 in the last year.
People vote with their wallet.
A few die hards? Really? Millions of Americans are very aware that the pain in their wallet was directly caused by those who stole the election of 2020.
They also know that it's going to get worse until that's rectified. We have an illegitimate government that will not stop until they've squeezed every last penny out of citizens and their great-grandchildren.
I saw election fraud way back in 1960 while living in Chicago. Enough dead people voted in Cook county to deny Nixon presidency.
Voter fraud is part & parcel of our elections. It will go on happening because it is easy to do. So why only Democrats are allowed to execute voter fraud? Why are Republicans so incompetent to answer in kind?
Since voter fraud is never going away, there are only 2 methods to overcome voter fraud. 1. Nominate candidates who can beat the margin of fraud 2. Learn how to execute voter fraud.
Republicans failed at both in 2020.
Please see post #14.
Exactly. Like the Snakehead said, it’s the economy stupid. That’s what’s getting people to the polls.
People care about the fact that a trip to the grocery store can easily be $250-$300. That their electric bill is $400-600 or more. That their Natural Gas or heating oil or Propane bill is double. That is cost $60-$100 to fill up their car.
That their 401K went down by 1/3 in the last year.

Excellent summary. Sounds like you should be coaching our team how to message.
My pocketbook (as a retired senior dependent on Social Security income alone) has been skinnified criminally by his policies, together with the kind of groceries that I can afford.
You think, Todd, that I am not concerned? And others like me?
Not everyone. As what happened in 2020 is the exact reason we’re in the predicament we’re in.
Right now there are many in Georgia that are voted for Kemp in the primary solely because he opened up the state in 2 weeks during the COVID disaster. Yet, he and Raffensberger are the major players into how President Trump lost Georgia.
It’s all intertwined, whether you choose to accept it or not.
And the effects that are being felt on their wallets is a direct result of what happened in 2020.
There’s no denying that.
