Republicans are 24% of registered voters says KTLA-5. We had to pull in indies and dems. We got some, it will probably be the usual 60/40, but it wasn’t enough. Our party ate this with a lousy 55% turnout, too. Placer Co (north) was down from 78% to 55%. Orange county (south) hovered around 50% turnout, (turnout being mail-in votes and in person votes) the same as (central valley) Kern and Madera Counties
CA losing a Congressional seat / EV due to population loss is at least a start. Another thing that will help is the post-Covid, post-CCP new normal with intl trade and travel collapsing is going to absolutely devastate what’s left of the Kalifornia economy much more than any other Western state. Anything that lessens the state’s economic and political relevance is important for the rest of us.

Born here in CA 48 years ago. Grew up here and I’m getting the F out of this place as soon as my kid graduates high school. I would leave here if the ex wife gave the ok but she won’t so I have to wait a little over a year and a half.
The main reason this place sucks the big one is the homeless. The homeless have ruined everything about this state. They shit and piss everywhere. There is garbage EVERYWHERE and they sleep and set up shanty towns EVERYWHERE. They are allowed to do whatever the hell they want and they ruin everywhere they go. It is straight up depressing to see this BS everyday and it is still getting worse. I’ll be called a quitter or a coward for bailing? Oh no!!

That’s exactly what conservatives need to do: Run away and abandon a whole state at the first sign of democratic voter fraud. Then when they see that pattern and cheat in all 50 states, we can then leave the country, boy that’ll show them leftists who is boss!
Give up, grant them independence, recognize Kommiefornia as a sovereign nation, revoke the American citizenship of every resident of the state, then divert the Colorado river and see to it that nary a drop of its water ever leaves the boundaries of the 47 contiguous United States.
Then listen to them howl.
They aren’t going to be a conservative state, but there’s no reason why Republicans can’t win there, given the right circumstances and the right candidate.
