Tough to see a chance for secession in a nation as accessable as ours. We’re too close and able to move into each other’s territories. Regional issues ain’t what they used to be. Best to find locales as far from urban $Hit pits as possible. Then network as much as you can before the coming disaster the left is insisting on creating.

Well, I think that’s a great idea. But the problem is, the left does not. They want a strong central government, we want power distributed.
And now we’re back to the original argument of this thread :D

You wouldn’t have to continue contributing to Medicare in that case, right? If you are past 65, you no longer contribute to Medicare, do you?

If you are past 65 you contribute $144.00 dollars a month to medicare SO YES you still contribute!! Then on top of that you NEED a supplemental insurance because Medicare actually covers very little so your out of pocket expenses change very high!!!

Well, maybe better to just die. lol. Don’t ask me, I don’t have enough money to die. Medical care in Mexico is inexpensive. I speak fluent Spanish. May go down there with wifey (she’s from there) and just die there. Here, there, not much difference at all if Biden is allowed to steal the election.

Love Rush Limbaugh, secession is unlikely and Unconstitutional. See the Civil War.And how, exactly, is secession illegal? The "Civil War" was not a civil war - it was a conflict between two sovereign nations, one of whom was trying to subjugate the other. A civil war is when two (or more) factions are fighting for control of the
same government. And, up until that point, secession was never questioned as a power belonging to the States. It was only after the war that
Dems Repubs tried to find a not-too-convoluted explanation for why secession wasn't allowed, indeed, why ~650M people had to die to bring back several States that did so. And yet, there's still no clear legal theory under the Constitution for how a State is unable to ever leave.
And wouldn’t the farm or suburban areas also need to secede from the cities in each state? You are 100% correct, and therein lies the rub. If a Harris admin really does happen and possibly causes a secession movement, it's not just gonna be 30ish States. it's gonna end up being those States, plus 75% of the remaining States, since the newly formed Union would have no reason to NOT allow those sections to leave the USSA and join up. The most likely end is the old USA borders - we'll call it RoTPEE in any further conversation (Republic of Texas Plus Everyone Else) - minus 20-30 city-states within her borders.

Breaking the nation apart is not the answer. Fragmented America, the socialist will never give up trying to convert all the states and the nation’s greatness will never be realized again. No,the collectivists and their communist ideas must be pulled out like weeds, by the roots, in a manner so violent that it never takes root here again.

So true, but they might become reasonable if faced with a choice between Civil War and federalism. Having unrestricted power within their blue states might keep them happy.

Secession of what to what? If they hate the place, strip them of citizenship and send them over to Mexico and see how the Mexicans like being invaded.
To: Svartalfiar
There’s no guarantee that the secession will result in unified states. Not only that, but in many states, the city population is literally most of the state population. How are so few people supposed to contain cities of millions? How are the powerful military assets, National Guard bases, etc, supposed to be secured. A mob with guns is dangerous, even if untrained.

I look at people like Donny Deutsch, BLM thugs, Antifa thugs, New Yorker kiddie porn cartoonists, white liberal 'elites' (read white-trash with money), and violent illegals - - and I know we'd all be better off in two different countries.
Liberals can live in their country - disarm ALL their citizens, open their borders to every third world hellhole and pay for healthcare for all who come to their country. They want to live like that - we don't.
We can live under the old Constitution with it's Bill of Rights protections OUR values. Both groups would be better off NOT living in the same county.(Oh for those who think this is 'racist' - the one our of six black men who voted for Trump will likely choose to live in Red America - same with the 40% of Hispanics who voted for Trump) The division is based on beliefs NOT on skin pigmentation.
