You wouldn’t have to continue contributing to Medicare in that case, right?

If you are past 65, you no longer contribute to Medicare, do you?

If you are past 65 you contribute $144.00 dollars a month to medicare SO YES you still contribute!! Then on top of that you NEED a supplemental insurance because Medicare actually covers very little so your out of pocket expenses change very high!!!
